Regarding major metropolitan areas (Los Angeles, Chicago,...), the middle-class suburbs are friendlier than the inner city. The inner cities are full of very distracted, consumerist, status-minded people, yuppies, etc. plus seedy hood rats of different stripes (mexicans, blacks, polish, koreans, etc...) who all hate each other. The suburbs are mostly boring, and have some factionalization as well, but are at least friendly, safe, and less hassle in general.

Odd. I had the EXACT opposite experience. London (apparently famously unfriendly) seemed far more social to me than NYC. Had a lot of spontaneous conversations with strangers in the former, almost none in the latter. Even when I would ask somebody for directions, it seemed like nobody in NYC ever knew where anything was. On the other hand, twice when I asked for directions in London, people went out of their way to help me get there (although to be fair, I don't know that either of them were locals).

Talking about whole states as friendly or unfriendly is rather odd. I live in Queensland in Australia, and it's known as a laid back state, but people are very different from one city to another, and even within local areas. I nearly got punched by a giant white lady in a car park in Nerang (city of Gold Coast) because apparently, I looked at her the wrong way. This suburb is known as lower income in the land area and I live in Northern beaches, where people are very friendly and calm. I agree with Winston that nice environment makes people calmer.

I see women on Elena's Models being more in favour of large and well-known cities in the USA near the sea, rather than guys from small towns in less known states. They definitely would choose a guy from LA or anywhere in California than someone from Oklahoma. It's all about how well known the place is and the perception of people living there—which they get from famous TV series and movies, yes.

Russian women, in general, are more in favour of America as compared to Ukrainian girls, who like Europeans more (maybe because Europe is so much closer and they can easily travel back and forth).

My cousin married an American and lives in LA, and she loves it there. I also didn't have a problem with people there and they didn't seem unfriendly.

Seattle itself is pretty cold usually. Some outlying areas are much better. We have some sailing friends in Mukilteo and Everett. Its quite a bit better a ways out. But then again, i dont wait for people tp befriend me. That is so victim oriented. I invite them. Our boat is also an excellent ice breaker. (Note to single men: Girls like sailboats! ) Besides, i can invite them aboard, and if i don't like them, i can make them walk the plank!

Because, they taught me for 8 long years and more, in academics and the school - to hate my parents who raised me with nothing but love. They attacked the direct way of life I was raised with....and so many other traditional white Americans were raised with, and that is unacceptable. There were so many times when I was in school, and especially in college where they made it a witch hunt to be white - anyone that was white was attacked relentlessly, was relentlessly marred and ridiculed. I couldn't believe it and understand why it was happening. And everybody just went along with it. I thought I was in la la land. I didn't go to my college for that. Should've left right then. What's ironic living in Seattle is 70% of my friends are liberal. I'm ok with that! These are all good people that have their political views on life and I respect them and they in turn respect my point of view. We'll get together and have discussions and at the end of the night, we are still pals.

I'm going to have to say California, Tennessee, and certain parts of Ohio. California goes at the top because I was in a jam, and I had three people offer to help, two of whom ended up doing so. On the trains, I got into a light conversation with a group of people who offered compliments that seemingly came from nowhere. Of course, you have the bad side to it. Lots of homeless. A higher crime rate compared to where I'm at. Stuck-up, Hollywood culture. Though I didn't notice too much of this. I was in Hollywood multiple times and...it's overrated. The only relevant places are the sign and the main avenue. Saw some interesting characters but other than that? Nothing to really say one way or the other. Add in the good looking ladies, the lack of humidity, and natural beauty of the state and you have someone wanting to go back! I used to be on that anti-liberial, "they're all marxists" bandwagon, but I always think for myself first. And having actually set foot on Californian soil, I can say that state has potential. I mean, a bisexual male helped me out and was actually pretty right-leaning. Military veteran. Didn't like how impoverished immigrants get help before born-American citizens.

Next I'd say Tennessee. Not only friendly, but respectful. I thought they'd be on some ass-backwards racist stuff, but I was actually called "sir" at one point! By middle-aged white men. I haven't seen too much of it yet, but what I did see, I have a warm regard for and hope that such attitudes permeate the entire state.

Parts of Ohio. Akron and Canton. Not much to say here. It was cold as all hell when I was there. I think people are polite but not really "friendly", if that makes sense.

I actually made cool with some of the hip-hop types when I was up there. But overall, it's a very pretentious state. I mean, it's New York. Maybe upstate is different? But if you stay in the five boroughs, yup. I find it's a good ground for those into the Sex In the City lifestyle. Socialites who know how to hold their own. It's not hopeless though. Like I said, I had my own small social sphere, and I know of other men who live a life of perpetual clubbing and are successful with friends and sex/romance.

Florida. At least where I was at. It's a retirement area in a retirement state that just happens to be one of the oldest historic districts in the state. A lot of the younger crowd (to me) seem bland, disinterested, soulless. Soulless seems harsh. But there is a huge disconnect between they and I. I don't see or sense a lot of ambition coming from most of them. It's usually babies, crime, or mediocrity. Which is fine. Everyone has their own life tastes. But it's especially defeating when you have a burning desire to get out and do things, and in Florida (especially in older districts), you won't be doing much of anything if you don't know anyone. And I mean seriously have a social circle of some kind. If not you had better make one. The state just isn't -- to me -- conducive of a 'friendly' environment or a fun lifestyle. People will be polite and answer questions, but making friends is damn-near impossible if you're not putting out the same energy or on a different wavelength.

That's ironic because most Americans aren't worldly-cultured so they get their phenotypes and nationalities mixed up sometimes alas horrible discernment of a person's background. FLORIDA: the young people are abhorrent for lack of a better word. The retirees (especially the Askhenazim Jews from the northeast) were some of the nice people I've ever met ever! St. Petersburg is the Oakland, California of Florida...very niggerish. Well, okay, Jacksonville is just as bad as St. Petersburg. It's safe to say that of central Florida, St. Petersburg is the king of ratchet-ghettoness. Ft. Myers is boring, but it's very nice. SE Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hialeah, etc. S-U-C-K). I hate the personalities down there. Orlando and Kissimmee are the "San Juan, Puerto Rico/Santiago de Republicana Dominicana" of Florida just like Miami is the "Santiago de Cuba" of Florida; if you don't natively speak Spanish, you will be treated as an extrañjero/ajeno there and will mitigate your positive experiences.

OKLAHOMA: the last good U.S. state I had my cake and eat it too when it came to the women. During my first two months in Del City, every weekend I had sex with different women I've met from POF. - Highland Park Village (HPV lol) is the Bel Air/Beverly Hills of Dallas - nobody called the cops on me, but people there were flaunting their BMW 600 S-Class series cars and whathaveyou. It doesn't make HPV racist, but generally speaking, every race is racist in Dallas (same thing with Atlanta although it's not in Texas)
- East Dallas - very ghetto - Black people are nasty there - due to almost lack of funds at the time, I had a storage space for several months there in East Dallas. I kid you not: the SECOND DAY I've had that unit when I came back, a fourth of my thick steel lock was sawed into. The f**k!?? Luckily nobody had succeeded because I had my two corporate laptops in there among other important belongings.
- Downtown - too many Black homeless dudes begging for change, "Yo bwoi (it's boy with a w-pronunciation towards the beginning), you got change, mayne (it's man)".
"C'mon my Nubian brotha (errr "seriously" I've retorted in mind), I know you got some money". There's not one Chinese food place downtown when I was last there in 2015. Not one! Yet the downtown Dallas McDonald's right by the Greyhound has a security guard there that converges on you everytime you aren't ordering fast enough because they assume you're loitering at that point. Craziness, just craziness.
- SW Dallas - it's the "Mexico City" of Dallas. Ironically, very peaceful...everybody minds their business. Nobody is talking mierda about anybody. Polite and classy. English is almost never spoken there. One pet peeve: just like in most of Latin America, there are street dogs running around and abound in SW Dallas - a couple in difference instances were fuc.king pit bulls. @#^$^$!! One German shepherd ran into a car by a long BOOOOOM! collision sound, and the dog ran off without yipe-ing. I'm sure it had succumbed to its injuries soon after.
