For anyone going to Vegas

Post by momopi »

If you're going to Vegas to have some fun, be warned that Taxi drives are paid $100 or more to take you to certain strip clubs. At the club they write down the Taxi license plate # and reimburse them later. So don't expect the drivers to have an "honest opinion" on the best places to go.

We did find one excellent taxi driver, George (702) 478 0275

Call him when you go to Vegas. He is very well informed. Don't be cheap and remember to tip.

I just wonder if Vegas is a good place to meet women? I was there once a few years ago and enjoyed myself. Statistics show there are more men living in Vegas than women, so women do have the upper hand. Yes, there are a lot of hot women working and living in Vegas but I am sure most have rich boyfriends. I noticed the hot cocktail waitresses were friendly to the customers because that's their job, that's how they make tips. But try and ask out a cocktail waitress and .... forget it! Most of them are in relationships already. I do like the mild winter weather in Vegas but the scalding hot summers would be unbearable! :shock: Where in Vegas can you meet women besides the bars and nightclubs?

I was there for over a week before going to Philippines. I stayed at my aunt's place and had my own car. The girls are a bit like in LA. I found some Texan girls to be talkative, and some foreign ones too. But only for polite conversation. The most friendly girls were freelance whores who wanted $400 for one hour of sex. I took one of them up and french kissed her for a while. Then I tried to bargain down but she refused, so she left. At least I got a free great french kiss. lol

I went to some strip clubs too, and got some $20 lap dances. But the friendliness was all fake.

Las Vegas is very materialistic. The girls that work there expect big cash fast and easy.

Vegas is a city built on people losing money at the casinos.

If you want to save $$ and still stay at a high quality hotel, I recommend the M Resort located about 8 miles away from the downtown strip on LV Blvd. You should have your own car if you want to stay there, the hotel's shuttle service isn't very frequent:

I went to the Spearmint Rhino in LV because there's an ex Asian import auto model who dance there on Saturdays that I wanted to visit. For those who are into the scene, she's the one with the big spade tatoo on her leg. Entrance is $30 and private dances are $200 for 30 mins and you can't use the free drinks coupon in the lap dance room. Not cheap.

You could try picking up girls at LV but we always bring our own girls from OC. Geez just hit up your female friends and say "vegas for weekend?" and they'd drag their female cousins/coworkes along. We rented a limo package for clubbing. For those who don't understand, check the long queue by popular clubs in Vegas. If you want the VIP entrance, you need to pay someone who will pay the door man. Once cash grease the palm, you step right in.

You can call 702-351 -7179 and ask for Michael Aaron, he'd hook you up.

This is going to be weird since I can't really dance but am giving advice on which night clubs to go. @_@;;

I no longer recommend Studio 54 at MGM because they have some really thuggish guys hanging out there. We did go to MGM to watch Ka by Cirque du soleil, the tickets were pretty pricy at $175/each but the show was really nice (they imported Chinese acrobats lol). Well, at least the show was 90 mins. Everyone who paid $XXX for the Pacquiao-Hatton fight were prolly stunned at the round 2 KO. They got what, 6 minuets worth of entertainment? xD

Tao night club at the Venetian is somewhat popular with Asians, but be warned that many of the younger guys there can't hold their liquer, so try not to bump into people too hard. I like it better than Pure at Ceasar's Palace. I had the unfortunate experience of being dragged to the Pure and be stuck in the techno/rap room for 2 hours. >_< Ouch.

I like Tangerine at Treasure Island, it's less stuck up and more relaxed, but the place is so damn small with blasting music, you can't really talk to anyone easily.

=============================

If you must go to a strip club to get teased, call and ask them to send a limo for you. Many offer free limo pick up service on the strip and you get VIP entrance (bypass the line) if you're dropped off by their limo. This is because the clubs pay the taxi drivers over $100 to bring in customers, so it's cheaper for them to send their own limo to pick you up.
