No one knows. All the webhost can tell me is that server resources overloaded. But that shouldn't happen unless we have thousands of visitors online at the same time. So theres no logical explanation.

Bluehost shut us down due to three files infected with malware. However when I downloaded those files, I didn't find any malware code in them and they were dormant files anyway. Very strange. Must be some untraceable hacking.

Before that, there was another problem. When I came back to Philippines, I was not able to upload any files using a FTP client or File Manager from my webhost panel. I thought the hotels here had a strong firewall, but all of them would not allow me to upload files to my server like before. So I thought Bluehost blocked Philippines. So I contacted them and found out they didn't. They said my tmp folder was full, which caused the file manager to crash, and asked me if I wanted to delete it. I said yes, and then after that they shut down my site due to alleged malware. So strange. I hate when unrelated problems compound like that for no reason and no explanation. Very bizarre. What a hassle.

Could it be that someone at Bluehost doesn't like your site and they are sabotaging it?

Why is it you are so resistant to change? I mean I recommended another host months ago and you leave it as it is.

Does anyone know how to fix these malware warnings in the following reports? @MrPeabody?

Immediate Action is Required. Your site appears to be hacked. Hacked sites can lose nearly 95% of your traffic in as little as 24 to 48 hours if not fixed immediately – losing your organic rankings and being blocked by Google, Bing and many other blacklists. Hacked sites can also expose your customers and readers private and financial information, and turn your site into a host for dangerous malware and illicit material, creating massive liability.

It could be some hacker doesn't like your site. Have you hardened your site as per the recommendations of Sucuri?

Our server went offline again. I had them fix it again over live chat. This time though, they did something about it. They found some causes and implemented a solution. See below. Apparently it's due to abusive robots.
Hello,

Thank you for your patience, we apologize for any inconvenience experienced throughout this process.

We have reviewed the issue causing your server to crash. We found on the day your server crashed your site was being inundated by requests done by web crawling robots. Typically web crawlers are a good thing as long as their purpose is legitimate and the number of request is not abusive, however on your site we are seeing traffic from bots known to be abusive and cause server issues. In order to prevent these bots from crashing your server in the future we have added some code to the htaccess file on your public_html directory. This script limits the number or times a bot can visit your site and blocks known abusive bots all together.

Server logs for 4/3/19:

Top 10 User Agents:
Count: 13475 / 12.74% User Agent: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; AhrefsBot/6.1; +http://ahrefs.com/robot/)"
Count: 11134 / 10.53% User Agent: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; YandexBot/3.0; +http://yandex.com/bots)"
Count: 9591 / 09.07% User Agent: "The Knowledge AI"
Count: 7843 / 07.42% User Agent: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)"
Count: 4338 / 04.10% User Agent: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; SemrushBot/3~bl; +http://www.semrush.com/bot.html)"

The logs above show that for all the requests made to your server on 4/3 almost half of them were from these bots. With the limitations in place you should no longer see your server resources depleted.

We apologize for the delay in this resolution, if you have any additional questions or concerns that you feel have not yet been adequately addressed, please feel free to let us know.

Sincerely,
Robert S.

I tried posting the other day but it wouldn't go. The post was lost forever.

BTW I can highly recommend using SSL. I switched some of my crappy old blogs over to it in January and I've seen a 280% increase in Google traffic to one blog, and a 60% increase on another. I did also change the template + update some stuff but the SSL probably helps a lot. Not too many other blogs in our niches use it so it must be a good quality signal.
I was Happier Abroad for a while but Covid killed that off.

You mean switch over to https instead of http? Isn't that just for ecommerce sites? How do I do that? Will it redirect all the internal links and URL's? Can you do it automatically so that all links redirect to https?
