Interesting article, Taco, thanks for posting.

I had resolved not to buy a post-year-2000 (or so) car with "ONSTAR" or similar embedded espionage devices.

Now maybe I will have to extend that Luddite-ism to TV.

Still, as an single expat living alone, I hunger for TV on which I can watch shows and movies I choose. So... I wonder how many of the repugnant traits could be mitigated by duct-taping the camera and microphone?

I never watch TV and never plan to own a TV. Computers can play movies and television shows.
