He was known for elaborate entrance antics back in the MMA days with his crew -- they'd put on a real show. After he retired, he took the crew and started doing music videos. Here's some videos from his MMA days:

Post-retirement, Genki Sudo has done some acting work, appeared in TV shows, went back to school to get his Master's degree, authored several books/essays, and started a career in music. He writes the lyrics, compose music, and chronograph his own music videos.

"Theory of Happiness" -- Genki Sudo is a Buddhist, and he went on a pilgrimage to 88 Buddhist Shrines. This book is about his journey and learning.
"How to Marry that Person of the Valley of Wind" -- Genki Sudo is a big fan of Miyazaki's work in "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind". This book is about using Nausicaa as an analogy to his philosophy on life.
"Let's Cat" -- This lighthearted book is about living in Hokkaido with his 2 cats.
