Reality Show: Pregnant... and looking for Mr Right

Post by Teal Lantern »

Five single moms-to-be hitting the dating scene in new reality show

Hey, you, with the wallet. Get over here.
Must be some thirsty men out there if slags don't even have to pretend to offer you a good deal, anymore.
They figure all they need to do is show up.

Fellas better make sure their name isn't slipped on that birth cert., while congratulating themselves on what only looks like an "easy kill".

Do they even tell the men they are pregnant? I'm sure some might show it but two lines read:
Kiesha, an R&B producer based in Los Angeles, got pregnant with a man who she describes as 'just a friend'. He has no idea that she is carrying his baby.

Some were having one-night stands after drinking.

Those aren't quality women. Those are sluts. Once again we have the glorification of whores on television and this time it's about men lining up to date them. In the past most men would be ashamed to be seen with that type of women. Most men wouldn't even consider being involved with such a women. What happened to mens' pride? A majority of men don't have pride in themselves if they would date a whore. Whores are good only for f***ing and that's if the man doesn't care he's sleeping with a whore.

Whores want Mr. Right, but when good men reject slutty women and go after younger, innocent good girls those same women get all upset. Why? The women are upset because the men who choose to pursue younger, innocent good girls are going after beautiful, youthful, and possibly virginal women. It's worse than a rejection for those women because a man with a younger, innocent good girl shows he succeeded so he essentially "dropped out of dating" and "got an ideal dream girl" which knocks them right off their glorified whore pedestal.

Hang on a minute. Isn't the show supposed to be about the challenge to find good men despite being pregnant? This isn't about the glorification of whores on TV, it's about three women (all past their prime, I suppose) who have to struggle quite a bit to find a man willing to hook up with them, at least as long until the spotlight is on. Men aren't that stupid.

If by "good", you mean stupid/desperate enough to pay for another man's fun, then maybe.
"Kiesha ... got pregnant with a man who she describes as 'just a friend'.
He has no idea that she is carrying his baby."
"Megan ... found herself* 'with child' after an alcohol-fueled night out.
While the father wants to be involved, Megan's preference is to go it alone."

I think you may be underestimating the stupidity of the bottom end of men (either horn-balls or religious, usually both).

* "found herself" -- skank-apologist-speak for "it just haaaaappened".

Yeah. I still nurture enough hope in the residual dignity of the average American single man, to think the odds are stacked against our belly bumped heroes.

Again, I have hopes we haven't touched the bottom, yet. Else the show might end within the first couple of episodes, much to the audience's chagrin.

This show is just hilarious. Here is a challenge for the people of this show. How about finding and not rejecting good men BEFORE these women get themselves pregnant by dumb shit men? Just a thought.
