Movies today are so meaningless, especially those cgi action films like captain america civil war and batman vs superman. Geez. The action in them is so mind numbing and repetitive.

But not all action movies were like that before. Remember the 1987 movie Robocop? It had a lot of violence too but the violence was meaningful. And every scene was memorable. The black comedy satire was so well done like a work of art and genius. Every character including the bad guys and gangster bosses and corrupt execs were so memorable and interesting. And the soundtrack was awesome, one of the best.

So no, not all action films are the same. The films of the 80s didnt have too much violence or too little. It was just right. The violence was meaningful. Not pointless like today.

Check out this movie that Rock showed me in Taipei on his laptop. It's a mockumentary about mail order brides called "Mail Order Wife". It's pretty funny, though I don't think it's a true story. You can tell after a while that it's staged. The guy getting the bride is made to look retarded and socially awkward, like a loser. lol. But nevertheless, it was funny and entertaining, with twists and turns. Rock likes it and recommends it. It's on YouTube now, so watch it while it's still there.

Here's a similar movie called "Mail Order Bride" from 1987. I haven't seen it yet. But if you anyone wants to watch it first and let us know how it is, feel free. Here's the link. It looks like it's about a British man with an Asian bride.

^ I've seen that. I second the motion.

A better movie, on the same topic, and not a mocumentary: The Civilization of Maxwell Bright

Here is one of my favorite scenes from the 80's. It's from Karate Kid 3, when Daniel gets bullied and tortured by 3 guys, a wealthy CEO, a karate dojo teacher and a badass karate champ. Then Mr. Miyagi, Daniel's wise Zen-like Japanese teacher shows up and whips them all. It's so awesome and hilarious, watching three evil karate bullies like that get whipped by a small calm Zen-like Okinawan master like that. Such great poetic justice!

Robocop was all gratuitous violence but it had some memorable lines and a tried to have a story although very simple and childish. Anyways turns out that it should have been called Godcop. The story should have gone defective robots attempt to use a God (that's right with a upper case G) to help them steal from the innocent honest people the robots had been raping.

I just saw the movie above. It's fairly realistic and good. It's about an Australian redneck or hick who brings a Filipino bride to his trailer park neighborhood in Australia. It's realistic in portraying the difficulties his wife faces. For example, some people are nice to her but others are racist, and eventually she feels lonely and alienated without her family because her husband works too much. I know that's a cliche. lol. Plus the man is portrayed positively. He may be stubborn and rough with a hot temper, but he has a good heart and is a good man inside. And the couple tries their best to work things out amidst all the tears and difficulties. It's a good film to watch.

Point Of No Return (1993) - film with emotional and psychological pressure. Under sentence of death, Maggie (Bridget Fonda), is sentenced to death by lethal injection into a maximum security prison, for killing a police officer, but she wakes up after "the execution" to find that she has been rehabilitated, she has been spared in order to train her as a government assassin.

Check out this film from 1973 called "American Graffiti" directed by George Lucas (before he made Star Wars) and produced by Francis Ford Coppola (director of The Godfather). Its supposed to take place in 1962 during the last days of American innocence, before the Vietnam War and the Kennedy Assassination, which ruined America's trust in government for good. It shows how fun, open, wild and free America used to be. And how wholesome and innocent the girls were back then. There's no exact plot, it's just a bunch of teens having fun cruising on the road on their last night before going away to college, while having mishaps. The romantic oldie songs will make you feel good and reminisce too.

Here's the exact link to watch American Graffiti for free. Click on the arrows in the bottom right corner to make the movie full screen on your computer. Your parents probably had that much fun in their youth. lol. You should show it to them sometime and ask them if 1962 was really that free and wild. lol. I saw it recently and felt so good after seeing it.

American Graffiti blows that Star Wars BS line that "Harrison Ford was just a non acting carpenter who just happened to fit the part of Han Solo" right out the window. Harrison Ford is in American Graffiti (rides around with a young Shirley or Laverne in his hot rod car). So many lies in this world they can't keep them all straight.

Now, for a fcked up (in more ways than one) movie watch "Caligula". Maybe Trump can be America's Caligula. I had never heard of the movie but one of the hotels I stayed at in Hong Kong had the film online. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Emperors corrupt and depraved but also think how evil and depraved the Praetorian guard must have become since they were the ones breaking their oaths, installing and murdering their emperors.

Check this out. A new animation film called "Sausage Party" shocking reveals the esoteric truth of our world, that we too are food for higher entities in an energy extraction matrix, or "human farm" so to speak. The whistleblowing truths between the world of the food characters and our world is uncanny. It's a brilliant whistleblowing film similar to The Matrix. See below.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1700841/
Storyline

The products at Shopwell's Grocery Store are made to believe a code that helps them live happy lives until it's time for them to leave the comfort of the supermarket and head for the great beyond. However, after a botched trip to the great beyond leaves one sausage named Frank and his companion Bun stranded, Frank goes to great lengths (pun intended) to return to his package and make another trip to the great beyond. But as Frank's journey takes him from one end of the supermarket to the other, Frank's quest to discover the truth about his existence as a sausage turns incredibly dark. Can he expose the truth to the rest of the supermarket and get his fellow products to rebel against their human masters
The poster image of the film contains a great phallic symbol too, and a great pun. Looks just like an erected penis. lol

Image

Here's a video from a truther about how this film reflects our world and energy extraction matrix.
