Why do women often say that looks don't matter?

I remember in the 1980s i was around tons of attractive/thin gals. today i'm still fit but the women are huge. i did a pof date with one chic who said she was curvy. the only part of her body that was not round but curvy was her legs. each leg had these funky fat roles, and i've never seen such a 'curvy leg' ....... as horny as i was i had to say hell no.

Have you all noticed that it's usually women who commonly say that "looks don't matter". But men never seem to say that for some reason, unless they are liberal manginas of course. lol

Why is that? Is it because men are more honest than women? Or because men are more shallow than women? lol
