And maybe it doesn't register on your radar that a fuckton of these regular guys with women aren't that happy with their relationships. That was definitely the case with me and several of my ex-girlfriends, less happy with them than when I was single. The married men are particularly miserable, from what I've seen of the world (barring a few exceptions) but they can't easily escape the mess they've made for themselves. (My smartphone spell checker keeps replacing mess with Mrs, curiously enough...)
