The History of Political Correctness
In a nutshell, it's Marxist socialism, and feminism is one of the offshoots of it.

Check out this interesting response I got to my Politically Correct Fanatics article from a German guy. It's really good.

"Dear Winston,
I would simply like to thank you for writing and posting your exceptionally astute and well put together article "Politically Correct Fanatics." Political Correctness (PC) is undeniably irrational and logically indefensible at its core and deserves to be dissected, exposed and debunked for the dangerous scourge that it really is. You did that very effectively.
What is so fascinating to me is that I've always approached PC from a completely different angle. It is always a joy to have one's understanding of the world affirmed via another no less valid perspective. My late father was a professor of Political Science whose understanding came by way of History and Political Philosophy. He was an expert on Fascism in Germany, as well as on the techniques and ethno-cultural / ideological origins of Communism in the Soviet Union (and beyond). I therefore was fortunate to have inherited a very good intellectual foundation, one might say. Consequently it should not be surprising that we actually managed to trace the evolution of our present brand of PC back to its Marxist roots and all that that implies. You are so correct to call PC something akin to an ideological belief system or orthodoxy and by logical extension Political Incorrectness, a kind of secular heresy.
You only briefly brushed on the notion that PC has collectivism, not individualism, at it core. This however, to me, is the linchpin on which everything else turns. Individualism relies on self to motivate, inform and formulate one's own generally logical and carefully considered conclusions. One relies on the "unconditional dictates of conscience" if you will. In such a system an informed, self-reliant and thoughtful citizenry is essential. Cultural Marxism (as prescribed by the Frankfurt School) uses the PC mandate and strategy tool as an ideological weapon. The idea is to use it to discredit, defame and demonize the opposition or non-believers on the one hand and give the masses of the collective the "only" acceptable truth to which they can defer on the other. In other words, collectivist cultures or peoples, whether they be Mediterranean, Amerindian, Jewish, African American, Asian, etc., are by definition supposed to defer to their own prospective hierarchies, or leadership class, be they politicos, clergy, or socio-economic movers and shakers. This means that such "followers" are much more inclined to swallow the party line, parrot carefully fabricated boiler plate responses, obey and vote as their leadership class dictates. If kept sufficiently ignorant, unpracticed in logical thinking, and misinformed there is nothing else they can do other than put the only eggs they have in the only cultural egg basket they have.
Another interesting tidbit that we both seem to have in common is that your family came from Taiwan and mine from Germany. Both were refugees from Communism and Fascism at one time or another albeit a world apart.
Any response would be wonderful and thanks again ... "

Yes...it is quite hard to know where PC came from and to defend it.....it was a mainstay of Hitler, Lenin, and Stalin.

Well, you see, I take men at their word. If you do not mean what you say then please note it so I will know what you REALLY mean. Such things as facetious do not transmit well on forums...especially when most of us glance read what we are seeing.OutWest wrote:
