W: I wonder if he really died of a fever or not. Or if his followers killed him like the movie showed, cause they were tired of fighting battles. It seems odd that someone so young, strong, successful, brilliant and charismatic would just suddenly die.

He was pretty much assassinated through poison and helped along to die because of the incompetence of the medical people around him. I've watched a number of specials about him an I think the majority believe this to be the case.

Why was he assassinated though? Didn't everyone admire his success and his undefeated record, especially if they were on his team? Didn't he have any body guards to prevent poisoning? How do the historians know he was assassinated?

I heard he was gay too. Some Greek friends told me that. Maybe it explains why he didn't bang chicks in the cities that he conquered.

By the way, how come big conquerors like Alexander the Great and Napoleon are not considered evil monsters, but Hitler is? Is it because of the Jews?
