How do you fix non-Emperisism?

Post by Cornfed »

Now we know you can’t fix stupid, and unfortunately society is set up to enable stupid people to not suffer the immediate consequences of their stupidity, so it makes it very frustrating to deal with stupid people. But what if they go beyond that? What if people just reject the negative consequences of their stupid behaviour?

For example, take a person I and others have been involved in a legal dispute with. At the outset he regarded himself as a legal expert. First several lawyers dropped his “case’. Rather than conclude the case was ridiculous, he concluded they were all got at somehow. Acting as his own lawyer, he then filed various ridiculous arguments, which were all ruled against or dismissed with legal costs incurred. But of course that was because the courts were all corrupt (which they, you know, are to some extent, but that’s another matter). But the guy still argues that he is a legal expert, and no doubt will when I get my way and he is living under a bridge.

Where do you even go with that? Should such people just be killed?
