Question for Winston - Instinctual actions vs actions

Instinctual actions vs actions

Winston because you often visit america from the filipines do you think there is a lack of Instinctual action and reaction with the US society compared to the filipines and other foreign countries? Do you feel as if you can feel and sense the difference in vibes between both categories? you see it often feels like in the US foreign people have to think before acting toward society instead of simply act in the natural way they would in their own countries...i dont know if i explained it right do you follow what i am trying to ask you? I feel like in foreign countries there is Instinctual actions and actions but in the US there is only actions or sometimes very little Instinctual actions...

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you give some specific examples?

Do you mean that some people seem to naturally fit into the US without having to think? Yeah I've seen that, but those people whose natural instincts fit with the US seem very fake and unnatural to me, and always have. When I've tried to emulate them, I felt very empty inside trying.

You are very right there is nothing WORSE than feeling empty and fake inside to people like us inner growth is a must its also what makes us feel human...

And i liked when you stated " Likewise, being single in other countries is also far less painful than in America, where the lack of interconnectedness makes being single much worse than it otherwise would be in an inclusive interconnected social environment and vibe. After all, what could be more lonely than being alone in a society where people are isolated from you mentally, emotionally, and psychologically by default?
In a society where everyone is separate, independent, and in their own bubble/shell, it feels awkward, unnatural, and inappropriate to try to meet people or connect with others, rather than in an interconnected/communal environment."

its true that when it feels awkward, unnatural, and inappropriate to try to meet people or connect with others you start to see your SOCIAL life as something that can never be acomplished....And thats one of the worse things about America...Yet many find it normal and deny the problem but were do they find the courage to deny it if they probably suffer just like us when in the US? Its as if they enjoy being dominated just like the porn dominations that are becoming more and more popular i think they are called BOOT LIKERS i heard you mention that name on your interview remember?

I never used a term like BOOT LIKERS. I don't know what that means either. What was I referring to when I used the term?

Ok I think I get what you mean now. Yes I agree and I notice that. But it depends on the country. In some countries yes people are more spontaneous and instinctual and uninhibited in that they can be themselves and act out what they want. Third world countries are often like that. For example, Latin America, Eastern Europe, SE Asia, Russia, etc. They are more soulful and people are more open and direct. There's a vibe that feels like "anything goes". And you can flirt with women to your heart's intent, the women are cool with that. But not in NE Asian countries like Taiwan, Japan or Singapore. No way. Those countries are very uptight too, with very strict social rules of appropriateness, like the US. And if you violate them, you are seen as a freak or creep, kind of like in the US. And some countries are somewhere in the middle too of course. But I would say most countries are in one extreme or another.

Does that answer your question?

Yes. True. However, let me point out that not having any way to meet people in a culture where people don't talk to strangers, is only HALF the problem. The other HALF of the problem is that even when you meet people, if you have nothing in common with them or they are shallow, they will still DISLIKE you and will not want to be friends or hang out with you. You see, people in the first world are very shallow and picky. They won't just like you for you, even if you're a good person with good character and a beautiful soul. They have their standards and if you don't fit them, they aren't interested in you and will ignore you.

So even in the US if you join a church, swing dance event, yoga class, or go to a party, picnic or get together, people still have to LIKE you to be friends with you. They aren't just gonna make friends with you for no reason. There has to be something in common or you have to meet their standards. You have be cool, hip and attractive in their eyes. They aren't going to like you just because you're a good person or have great character or personality.

Also, sometimes having a lot in common is not enough. For example in the US there are hot girls that are into new age spirituality and hippie concerts, who have a lot of common interests with me, enough to be my best buddy or soulmate. However, they still don't like me because I'm not considered attractive or cool to them. I don't have tattoos and I'm not tall white and athletic, and I don't look like a bad boy. So they aren't into me, even though we technically do have a lot in common.

So finding someone that likes you for you is quite difficult. Especially if you are a unique soul or individual. If you were an extrovert and conformist and knew how to be "cool and hip" and were good at breaking into cliques and fitting into groups, then it'd be easier and you'd have a lot more friends of course. But most of us here are not like that. We are introverts and too individualistic.

Being a freethinker means that you have freedom of mind, and that's priceless yes. However it also means you will be often lonely, because freethinkers do not vibe or connect with mainstream people. So even if you have ways to meet a lot of people, you won't connect with them most of the time.
