Unspoken rule that women must win every contest?

Have you all noticed that in every contest at all between men and women in the US, the women MUST always win? It's an unspoken rule that is obvious.

For instance, when I watch romantic comedies where a couple is playing any game, even chess, pool or fooseball (games which men are usually better than women at), they have to show the woman winning every time.

Why is that? What is the basis for this unspoken rule that women must win in every sort of contest?

And in public speeches, when you compare men and women, you have to make it so that the women come out on top and the men are laughed at, even if it's for humorous purposes or to illustrate a point. Even Buddhist Monks giving lectures have to do this when they compare the sexes.
