Club scene in Miami

Post by shiryu400 »

Miami is a nice beach city and it's warm pretty much year-round. And that's ALL it's got going for it. I mean there are so many beautiful latin girls here but they're all mostly Americanized and total narcissistic biatches. In case anyone thought that south Florida would be somewhat better than other places for meeting women: forget about it.

The dating and club scene is super competitive with a surplus of roided up muscle-bound douchebags EVERYWHERE! It's like Jersey shore but everyone speaks Spanish. Every month we get a new shipment of Cuban girls that don't know a word of English, and yet, in less than 3 months of being in MIA, they turn into stuck-up Divas. It's incredible but I've been seeing it all my life. Unfortunately, the Anglo girls here are just as unbearable as anywhere else (this is according to what I've read here and in other similar forums since I haven't traveled or lived far from South Florida).

I used to go to the clubs a lot and had very little luck since women just ignore me and most other average men (I'm 5'8" and slim, btw). And this did not change when I tried to approach women. Ultimately, this doesn't change no matter if I talk to them, don't talk to them, treat them nice or shitty: it doesn't matter. One story that comes to mind is when I was at Justin's Aventura (look it up on google) and I saw two girls who were playing pool by the bar. I talked to one and then the other leaning close to their ears so they could hear me: NOTHING! I got no reaction out of them. No response. They just plain snubbed me! In fact, the only one I was able to talk to was 50 years old! (she didn't look it, though. She seemed in her early forties, maybe late thirties) All she could say was "I appreciate your attention."

Is anybody here in some other city that is famous for beautiful women yet can't find any to give attention to you?

Dino,

Welcome to the forum, man. Yeah MIA seemed like it was only good for Bob when he was dicking down FOB Latinas in his "8th Street Latinas" movie series and for the Habib [porn] Show.

Other than that, when I came back from S. America, I had a self-hating Americanized Dominican immigration officer direct me to the interrogation room at the Int'l Airport in MIA. I sat there for 4 hours whilst they were asking me the same questions to see if I were to slip up offering them a different answer. but they epically failed. LMAO! So they let me go.

Downtown Miami laced with Black women crackheads..just uber sad. South Beach was a hit and miss..nothing to go gaga about for long.
But yeah, Miami: epic fail.

Wow! Sorry that happened to you in my city.

There are some ok places downtown, but the surrounding areas are horror scenes!

And yes South Beach leaves much to be desired! Apparently it was once much better. But that was before my time since I'm 26 and never went to clubs before 2008. Some people say that SOBE was great in the 90s.

I live part of the year in Miami and you hit the nail on the head. If you want to meet women in South Florida, you need to hang out of Broward County or Ft. Lauderdale which is less pretentious than Miami.

The best bet for nightlife is Key West, FL which is 3 hours south. Go to the club Rick's on Duval Street and you will meet some nice girls including some Eastern Euro types who work in the service industry there during the day.

Orlando, Florida has some decently nice women too.

In Miami, 59% of the single people aged 25 to 40 are men and only 41% are women. So basically, 6 out of 10 single people are men and only 4 out of 10 are women. It's a dating disaster for men and a dating paradise for women! :P

Here are the percentages of single men ages 25 to 40 in cities all across America.

I got those statistics from this article; http://www.halfsigma.com/malefemale_ratio/

Atlanta - 55.0% men
Baltimore - 55.5% men
BOSTON - 52.4% men
Charlotte - 56.2% men

Kansas City - 54.1% men
Las Vegas - 57.9% men
Los Angeles - 56.4% men
Memphis - 55.8% men
Miami - 59.1% men (Fort Lauderdale 55.8% men)
Milwaukee - 55.2% men
Minneapolis - 53.1% men

Jesus, jamesbond! Living in this city, I've been told the exact opposite of those statistics all my life!

They say, "hey, there's more women than men in Miami so you should have no trouble."

But when I look at those numbers I think, no wonder...
