There are huge differences in different parts of the country. Where do you get the data about that oversupply?

stats like these paint quite a different picture:

It is also the experience of several construction contractor business owners I know in the NW USA.

The rest of the world have caught up with the skills of Americans. Now, a guy in China or India can do what Americans did in 1/10th of the cost.

The skills of making micro chips, motor vehicles, TVs, planes, ships etc were with the west...Now, everyone knows how to make TVs, Computers, toys, locks, lathe machines etc etc....Even speaking English is not the exclusive domain of Anglo countries.

I'm in India and I get hired by American companies easily due to my low rate but for me in India...its very high that made me go to Philippines and other places. 99% of whatever comes into America is from China...There is no patriotism there....

The only way I see Americans getting a good job is being extra ordinary ....Being A+ ....The B,C,D grade level of skills are outsourced to third world countries and guys like me pick it up...like you are competing with India, China, Bangladesh , Indonesia, Philippines
that's like 50% of the world population that is against you.

Plus all CEOs, presidents, celebrity, rock stars are selected by the elite groups of their own kinds. Wall Street is total rigged casino.

As a guy in a third world country...My life feels much better than the suffering many in first world countries go through...its just that..Its not documented enough...The mental torture in America is cruel for good guys.

The number of Americans, Europeans dying in Thailand is a testimony to it.

Just last week, An American jumped from a hotel in Pattaya as he ran out of money and did not wanted to go back.. So many westerners have committed suicide in Thailand and NOT a single guy from India has done that...We should be the one who should be jumping in Thailand for being discriminated against, not getting laid, not being rich, etc etc...but its not that bad to make us kill ourselfs.

American jumps to death from Pattaya condo

http://www.pattayamail.com/localnews/pe ... ondo-42760

http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/ ... aya-condo/

An American man who spent all his money but didn’t want to go home committed suicide by throwing himself from the 27th floor of central Pattaya condominium.

------------

...Upgrade your Skills and be a top dog in America or get out of America and save yourself....America don't need you...They have guys like us in third world countries....America is like a giant octopus that chews you up and throws you away...

While I wouldn't encourage anyone to break any law, white Western men driven to suicide would greatly mitigate the tragedy in they would take some of their tormentors with them.

So a baby boomer retiree is going to outsource his in home kitchen remodel to India? lol Don't think so.
Otherwise, industrial trade jobs can be outsourced in some cases. However, if you need new plumbing in your house in Portland Oregon, it has to be done by a local obviously. That was my point relative to young American males who are out of work. There are still trades they can do that are not possible to outsource. Unlike India and many other feudal type cultures, trades have
traditionally be a decent living for American men vs minimum wage at some coffee shop.

Increasingly multinational whorporations are importing workers directly from the third world.

Traditionally, but likely not in the future. That window has largely closed.

ok...some may do it but you can wollow in misery. Home service industries involving the trades are typically the domain of small business. Raj from Mumbai is not going to be involved.

She believes I'll at least get an interview, but I don't think my sister's help is going to work at all. It's still lose-lose even with a polished resume.

Another option I'm considering is disowning my family before I graduate; they are very superficial, my sister's method of helping me get a job is like the PUA, and they feed me with BS cliches such as "stay positive" which only make me even more depressed because there is absolutely NO HOPE that I am getting ANY FREAKING JOB! :x  :(

I would rather go my own way rather than move back home because the latter means giving up your freedoms; boomerang kids have to live under their parents' rules, they have curfews, and they have restrictions put on them.
I've written a lot of resumes. I'd be glad to review it. You can even remove your name if you want. Why not just teach English overseas?

That would mean less schooling, decent pay, a tangible skill, and no women at work since they can't/won't do jobs that require labor. I guess I'm doing sort of all-right given the circumstances, but if I had learned a trade, I might still be able to do well even here in the U.S.

If you're a bachelor's degree holding young, white male, then you're f***ed. That means either live at home unemployed or live at home underemployed. Minimum wage jobs aren't worth it because they HAVE to be subsidized by your parents while you live at home. (Or, you could split an apartment with a buddy or something and just barely survive for years on end...but what's the point?)

Once the West's baby boomers start the die off, their children will inherit their wealth, but it won't last forever. It's clear that the West is plundering the middle class and by 2030-2050 it will be a full-on third world shit-hole with nothing to its name.

Ideally, I would rather have the free time at home to be working on alternative ways to success. I'm working minimum wage retail right now due to family pressure, and it's pointless. But I'm also just here temporarily before going back abroad, so I'm not just sitting and whining about things without taking action.
Im a few years removed from American "college" so to speak and in hindsight, if I had to do it all over again, I would have learned a trade....Or f**k, go overseas instead.....A bachelors degree today is like a marriage license..."A worthless piece of paper"....Every job Ive had since " college" did not even require a college degree....Da fuq!....

American "college" was a waste of time financially, socially and educationally....

Those are lies. America isn't free, it has low opportunity if you're among the lower classes or not-so-privileged groups, there's little and declining liberty, and its a nation of serfs, slaves, cruel overlords, and a corrupt plutocracy.

Are you born in 1990 and currently unemployed?
I do work for Vector Marketing which is a commission-based job. Also, will average millennial men be stuck in their parents' homes for life and unable to join the HA movement? And are millennial men not able to get ANY job no matter if its decent or not?
The average millennial man will be stuck in their parents' homes for a long time. Either they live with parents and save, or be out on their own and not be able to save. I'd say it would be much easier to get a minimum wage job or near-minimum wage job. It's the $25,000+ annual jobs that are very difficult to get, and anything over $40,000 is very scarce.

If a millennial man was very desperate and was deemed to be good looking, I guess he could take steroids to get a top 10% body, take pole dancing classes, and them become a male stripper working in a gay strip-club or something for money. But that would mean being willing to sacrifice some self-respect and be like the slutty American women that they hate. It sort of sounds like a joke "A straight man working as a stripper in a gay bar." But strippers do earn good money and most of it can go unreported. I guess I should add that to the very bottom of my list as potential "last resorts" in the future.

I'm probably going to take a minimum wage job this January if I don't get anything.

The average disadvantaged Millennial men will have a more difficult time going abroad. A minimum wage or not-so-decent paying job means they will be unable to meet the expenses for their necessary current liabilities (shelter, utilities, telecommunications, food, car, etc) so they would be insolvent (which is defined as: unable to pay debts owed.) and they wouldn't have money for emergencies or savings. Unless they lived with parents, minimum wage is the end of it.

The men with student loans are basically slaves.

The men that live at home for awhile and don't have student loans have a better chance at making it if they can save money.
Well, I applied to minimum wage jobs and got shut out of the hiring process. So it's difficult for millennial men to get any job, even the minimum wage ones.

The job market in America is indeed very bad, especially for guys. But American women expect guys to be Superman at getting and keeping a job, especially an enormously high paying (as in between 6 and 10 figures a year) job. In today's market, it can take months, even a year or two, for a man, even one without a disability, to get a job. But American women want the man to have the job the very next day after filing the application.

And very obviously, you need a job to move out of the United States. Second and especially third world countries have no Welfare or SSI. There is no Welfare or SSI in Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, or anywhere in Africa, as far as I can tell.

If a guy is creative enough, then he can be self-employed or build a passive income to escape the U.S. Matrix. I was able to pull that off, and now I've been living for Mexico for more than a year. But even that's becoming more of a hardball game these days, especially with what happened to YouTube this past year. We had the "adpocalypse" where major brands pulled their ads from YouTube en masse. Content creators lost a large percentage of their revenue; some even had their channels demonetized entirely. And many of them turned to Patreon for revenue. YouTube had two "solutions". First, you now have to have at least 10,000 lifetime views on your channel before you can apply for monetization. And then it goes under a manual review to see if your content is "advertiser friendly". Then towards the end of the summer, YouTube introduced a gold dollar sign icon to indicate that a video has limited or no ads. There's an automated system which flags videos as "not being suitable for all advertisers" based on titles, tags, or thumbnails. But if your video has at least 1000 views in the last 7 days, you can submit it for a manual review. An exception is if your channel has over 10,000 subscribers and you can submit a manual review for videos with less than 1K views or even ones set to "private" or "unlisted".

This affected almost everyone on YouTube, but it hit the small creators the hardest. They now have an even harder time trying to make a living on YouTube versus before the adpocalypse. In a nutshell, you can say that the YouTube adpocalypse has parallels with the Great Recession. Pre-recession, for instance if you came out of college in the 90s or early 2000s, getting a job was way easier compared to the current post-recession economy. Nowadays, many people coming out of college either have no job prospects at all, or they are stuck working some crappy dead-end minimum wage job. And if you have student loan debt, you're especially f***ed big time.

The easiest route to expatriation for most millennial men is teaching English as a second language. It's becoming stricter in some countries, but it's not horrible yet.
