China's shortage of women is less acute than in the US

Post by wanderlust »

Let me start off by saying this post wasn't an obvious fit for any category. Next, I'll let the stats speak for themselves in a couple of links.

China:

http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2014/1 ... nY2xEt34_B

117 boys born per 100 girls

US:

http://www.bloomberg.com/visual-data/be ... ios-states

Average is about 120 males per 100 females, 25-34 age group (today's reality is marriage age). High is 148:100 in ND, low is 102:100 in AL unless you count DC (86.7:100)

Since a fair amount of illegal immigration (vast majority single males) isn't trackable, the real ratio of men to women would be higher than 120:100. Reports are from 2013 and 2014 so it's recent.

Wow, these statistics speak volumes! No wonder why it's so hard for guys in America to meet women, there just is not enough women to go around. Now I know why in the US, the vast majority of people who use online dating are men. Whenever I go to bars I see 3 guys for every one girl.

Due to the ridiculous male/female ratios in the US, America is probably the most difficult country in the world to meet women!

The nature of the women, from what I gather, is a lot different there as well, namely less attention-seeking BS than in the US.

So after expending a whole lot of energy, ordinary Chinese man may find a bride. Ordinary US man may end up with a few hookups.

Jamesbond your right!!! For the reasons you have just stated above I can see this is why more American men need to start going abroad to find quality single women.

So what is the cause for the skewed numbers in the 25 - 34 age group? The USA in not practicing infanticide. Also once women get past 35, they have little interest in men since they no longer want to be mothers. Marriage used to be the necessary evil to have a child. Now marriage is not even part of the children equation, so men are just fkked. :!:

No wonder a large subset of the millions of lonely frustrated dateless men can't even get a single mom or a land whale; they only have one choice, which is to remain single. Mathematically, if every girl in the USA was taken, there would be 20 percent of guys left over.

The numbers are all in a woman's favor. No wonder why I see good looking guys with ugly girls and guys who are in shape with land whales!
