Vent your rants and raves here about whatever makes you mad, angry or frustrated.
I've just been ruminating over something - has an Anglo woman (bar your mother or your pets) done anything in your life to help you whatsoever, without payment?
I know that I've stated this already, but I think that the vast majority of Anglo women are profoundly selfish. They will generally not assist anybody, unless it benefits them in some way. For instance, whilst I was struggling with schoolwork/coursework, etc, I've had guys help me out, but never women. They'll take your assistance, but they'll never reciprocate it. It's like they view us as mere machines, to be used then finally discarded when we have expended our use.
I believe that this attitude stretches to the way many of them have abortions because it harms them in some way. Many don't even contemplate the rights of the child.
What do you guys think?
(BTW, I did help a struggling friend through two years of high school out of friendship. I'm no Mother Teresa, but I'm happy to assist others when I think that they're having trouble.)
Must be nice. They've spoken to me sure, but that doesn't really count.
I agree with this. If there is a place where one should not have Asperger's Syndrome, it is the Anglosphere (and especially Australia, even more than America), due to:
1) Many being male
2) The conformist nature of the Anglosphere
3) Emphasis on materialism, which puts many with AS off
4) Emphasis on sports in AUS leaves those who cannot play them competently feeling ostracised
Yeah, it's funny Anglo women love it when guys help them out but think it's beneath them to help a guy out (unless that guy is a bad boy or a thug, then the woman may help the guy out).
When I was in school I helped women out of the kindness of my heart. My classmates. Meanwhile, they proceeded in their assassination of my character. My conclusion is that Anglophone women are beyond worthless. I almost wish that phsyical harm would coem to them.
Yes, but mostly back during school years. After college people just become far less generous.
I still fondly remember a friend from college who gave me free neck/shoulder massages all the time. I'd take classes with her just to have her sit behind me. ;p She was one of those touchy feely types. I recall her ex-bf running away from her because he thought she was super-glue.
Maybe, but it seems much more obvious in Anglo countries. The last girl who assisted me greatly (she doted over me, gave me answers to quiz questions, cuddled me and spoke to me at length about personal things) was not raised in the Anglosphere (she was white, though).
Funny. Anglo girls have not done anything of the sort to me over my twenty odd years. My mother has, though.
Seriously, if I meet a girl half as selfless as my mother, I'll be very happy.
In college many guys want to play, so they don't really like a "sticky" gf. I was just a friend so could care less. I just thought "hey, free massage, cool!".
I also received a few boxes of stuff from female friends who were into arts & crafts and the anime/manga hobby. Hand-made rabbit fur pouches, hand painted tarot card set with anime characters, ceremic cups/mugs, Japanese garage kits (resin character models), and so on. I took the girl who made the fur pouch for me to ren fair and we got yelled at because we didn't peace-bond our swords at the entrance.
College is a time when kids stumble their way toward adulthood. Some girls are "liberated" from parents for the first time. I had a friend who was not allowed to buy/wear bikini in HS, so as soon as she's in college, she wants to go buy a 2-piece. At the beach, I had to explain to her that she needs to shave before wearing a bikini bottom. X_X
The girls that I meet after college were far less generous in giving, except for my friend's mothers. When I bought my first condo and was cash poor, one of my friend's mom gave me $500 to buy furniture. I tried to reutrn the money but she wouldn't take it.
I don't think I've received anything from girls my age in this country, bar maybe a few Christmas cards when I was very young. Not that I expect to receive anything, but what annoys me is that they don't even help you with menial things (like when you slip and fall in wet weather - it's always a guy who picks you up off the floor). Like I said, the majority over here think of nobody but themselves.
In Australia, though, many girls aren't really 'liberated' from parents and not many people live on campus. Many (particularly international students) live nearby or live elsewhere in the city, like I do.
The culture of hedonism is well and truly alive in Australia, so I can relate to your first point. It makes sex easy to get (at least if you're a certain type of guy), but it's an absolute nightmare for those looking for something more substantiative. Add to that the typical Anglo girl's mediocre personality and it makes you wanna withdraw.
In California, the promiscuities (sp?) level on college campus varies a lot from school to school. We have several different college systems (community college, California State, University of California, California Polytech, etc) ranging from non-academically inclined, to nerdy engineering schools. Generally speaking the girls at less academically inclined schools are more slutty, and schools with more on-campus dorm housing (versus commuter schools) has better "dorm experience".
Part of the college party culture is hooking up for the weekend. I think the contributing factor is that many student housing is a "double" and you'd wait for your roommate to depart for the weekend, before having a bf/gf over for sex. The less considerate types would have their partners over regardless of the roommate.
For the 1.5 gen Asian college students, the girls carry their "beef" over from HS in less obvious ways (will socialize with, but not "like" someone). For example the 1.5 gen Taiwanese girls dislike Vietnamese girls because of sexual competition. The Taiwanese girls perceive the Vietnamese girls as being predatory or "easy" with Taiwanese guys, and the Vietnamese girls see Taiwanese girls as being stuck up ("if you're not going to date him, why complain if I do"). "Bad" Vietnamese girls, or those from really f*cked up backgrounds, end up working at Viet bikini coffee shops from age 17-25'ish, before hooking up with a guy and quit. I've meet one who doesn't know her father, her mom had 3 kids with 3 different fathers, she was the eldest who quit school at 17 to work in a bikini/lingerie coffee shop to support her younger siblings while her mother was in jail for unspecified offense.
The 1.5 gen Taiwanese and Korean guys sometimes turn from nerd to party animal. They were the "goody two shoes" who studied hard in high school, and as soon as they get into college, they turn wild with bar-hopping and Asian gangster wanna be. Pretty hillarius to see some rich Korean kid from La Cañada (Flintridge) driving a Lotus (mommy's gift for getting into UCLA) and trying to act like a gang banger from K-Town. The non-academically inclined Korean kids usually get into a lot of trouble in HS and end up joining the Navy, and the Vietnamese guys end up working in a low-wage job that don't require background checks. The ethnic Chinese kids that didn't make the cut end up working in restaurants or get sent back to Asia. More successful dropouts run their own small to medium sized business with varied degree of success.
Those who make the cut and get professional careers, tend to do fairly well as dual-income families. At this stage (post-college) the Taiwanese women acquire a fear for mainland Chinese girls, who are far more aggressive. Many Taiwanese men who are posted overseas to jobs in China get local mistress, and even here in CA the mainland Chinese women are aggressive. My cousin's ex-BF is 24-25'ish and from a well to do family, he's hooked up with a mainland Chinese women in her early 30's who "look" like she's in her early 20's and got pregnant pretty quick. He's not the only one, the story repeats across several other guys I know from Taiwan here.
We also get a lot of foreign exchange students & oversea grad school students. It's very popular for Asian students to come to the US to get a MBA. Best thing about them is that most don't drive but want to see and experience the local area before going back home. So if you have a car and offer to take them somewhere, it's pretty easy. The down side is that most of them have a tourist mentality, and you're just a short-term local attraction. So if you engage in a relationship, it's adiós when they return home. A much smaller % want to stay and are actively hunting for a green card / meal ticket. But overall (not Asian specifically), I think the kind of girls who go to college and hunt for a husband tend to concenrate at christian colleges.
Commuter schools can be tougher on the dating field, because the environment is less insular and the students tend to work/live elsewhere and just drive to school on some days of the week -- they have more "outside exposure". If you look at US marriage stats, it's obvious that girls get married younger than guys, which means older, better established, financially well off guys target younger prettier girls. I'm guilty of this myself because I can afford to take college girls on weekend trips to Napa Valley/Vancouver/Mexico/etc., versus the younger and poorer college guys cannot. This is one reason why we have marriages that take guys out of the market, otherwise you'd have a large pool of men ages 18-60 dueling each other over a very small pool of attractive young girls.
Since you're in AU, have you considered visiting Indonesia?

Yeah, we lack those specialised sorts of universities on the whole, although it is possible that one inferior university is better in one field than a generally superior one.
Yeah, a lot of uni guys and girls like to go 'partying' (i.e - drinking themselves to excess, as is an Australian pastime - of course, alcohol isn't my thing generally) and indulge in rampant sex. I don't do that sort of stuff. Being 'weird' on top of it (i.e - having AS) doesn't help, nor does being poor at sports. As such, I'm a misfit in Australia and wouldn't mind leaving.
Your information about how various Asian ethnicities behave at uni is very revealing, although I can't say anything more without going back upon what I've already said. There are a lot of Asians (particularly Chinese) at my uni too and they are generally quite a bit nicer than the Anglo (or culturally Anglo) girls.
Yeah, but my Malay is limited and it is a Muslim country. Indonesia is a more secular state than Malaysia is, but I would not be particularly surprised if the Indonesian Muslim girls would prefer to marry their own due to parental pressure. I would also face parental pressure if I tried to - my mother distrusts Muslims (especially Malay Muslims) in general because she was treated as a second-class citizen due to her religion and race (i.e - Franco-Dutch Eurasian Catholic). Demographics are against me there - someone like me probably needs them in my favour more than most.

For colleges, you can also look at male to female ratios in classes, majors, and school overall. When I was at Fullerton College dance class, it was 3 guys to 30 girls. At CSU Long Beach arts department (back then), the ratio was 1 guy to 3 girls. And even today, the ratio between male student to female student (total) at CSULB is 39:61:

In comparson, Cal Poly SLO is 56 men to 44 women:

Certain schools, such as UC Irvine (I live down the street from this school), has fairly even male to female gender ratio, but has very large Asian student population. We used to joke that UCI = University of Chinese Immigrants.

If you're Asian or part-Asian and have a preference for Asian girls, obviously going to a college with more Asian girls would present a broader selection. And attending a school, major, or class with more girls than guys work in your favor. Certain classes, such as pottery, gives you plenty of time to work on your art project while chatting with the girls in class. The gender ratio works great as long as the guy isn't creepy/pervert-looking.
I've never been to Indonesia myself, but have several non-Muslim Asian friends married to pretty Indonesian girls. Not everyone there take religion seriously and the country is something like 12-14% non-Muslim. One of my Viet buddies married a Catholic girl from Indonesia. I did spend a lot of time in SG and MY, meet a number a girls and had a lot of fun. SG girls are more picky and MY girls (Chinese Malays) tend to be on the hunt for a husband, because you need to have kids to look after you there.
The Malays have a poor image of Indonesians, but many well to do Malays hire (300,000) young Indonesian maids. In Singapore the house wives fear their husbands having an affair with Malay girls, and in Malaysia the house wives fear their husbands humping the teenage maid. Malay newspapers are filled with articles about bad maids and bad maid employers.
