The best protection is likely a strong metal roller shutter which covers all show-windows and door of your shop in case of riots.

An even better solution is maybe if you have some money to consider to move away and relocate your business somewhere else - not all USA cities are places of riots, arson and lootings. There is no long term future in places like this one, violence will continue, such places are unsafe, regardless your race.

That's the obvious solution Yohan. I have a friend who has a similar business located in a rough part of town and he has shutters installed. He has no problems.
