Psychology and Science

Well...I always thought psychology was considered a social science by most people in academia? Is that not true?

Having taken several psychology courses in college--I must say, it's a very interesting field. What I enjoyed the most from all the classes was learning about all the psychological illnesses that human beings can develop. (and it's a long list). It's pretty interesting to read about how f***ed-up in the head human beings can get sometimes, LOL.
