Making money online by filling out surveys (and Vancouver)

Post by Bao3niang »

Hey guys, I am in Vancouver for the Christmas holiday. Just a few days ago I thought of making money online by doing surveys, but don't know which sites are good to use or if this is even a viable option for either the short-term or the long-term. I really need to start finding ways to make money online so I can finally take off. If you guys know which survey sites can help me make a decent amount of money or have any other ideas to share, feel free to tell me!

BTW, an update on Vancouver. I actually lived here for 7 years before returning to China, but this time I'm back (2 weeks) I've realized that IT IS A DEPRESSING HELLHOLE! Absolutely NOTHING good about it except the clean air. I've been observing a lot of Asian girls (my uncle and aunt are here and we live in Richmond where over 70% of the population is Chinese/East Asian) here and they fall into 2 categories:

1. Super conservative cliquish East Asian type

2. Heavily Westernized Facebook/Twitter/gossip addicted type

The society here JUST DAMN SUCKS. Only this time am I beginning to see that the majority of white people in Anglo countries are cold and not friendly, while I used to believe the opposite that Americans/Canadians were the friendliest people. I was talking to my aunt about how these people in Anglo countries are ignorant and blinded by nationalistic pride. What sucks is that in about 6 months I may have to come here for college/uni, which means 4 (possibly 5 or 6) years stuck in the F-ED up Anglosphere.

Sort of got off topic (actually, very).

Making money by filling out surveys would take too long. Little pay for too much work.

Yeah Vancouver sucks if you want to meet people or pick up girls. It's very cliquish and makes you feel like you're invisible. But the people are polite, not rude. The hippie girls there will talk to you for a few minutes and then leave, that's it.

There are good brothels there for 200 dollars with hot chicks though.

My parents used to get Chinese groceries in Richmond, BC at those Chinese plazas. When I went there, the people were cold and cliquish. No eye contact. The vibe was all about "mind your own business, keep to your own clique". Very cold and lonely. But people there consider that to be normal.

You should travel to more social countries.

About your off-topic rant -

I believe Vancouver, BC is similar to the United States for the majority of White men.

In both cases, its very good for Black men. As I have explained to White men on this site. To get your own woman with increasing competition from White men and Black men, you need to be more than the average Asian guy.

As I have said before, my boy Ob is 6'0 tall, Thai and has no problem dating. He lives at home with his mom, though she's largely never there and drives a E class Benz and a VW Tiguan.

He sells insurance.

So why is he not complaining? He hasn't been single for more than a few months at a time and couldn't have easily married any of the girls has been involved with.

His current GF is Eurasian (White and Japanese) and they have been together for at least three years now.

Another man trash is another man's treasure.

I hope to make my 1st trip to Vietnam this year. In the future I will decide on a place to rent in either Da Nang, Nha Trang, or HCMC if it turns out to be good. Signed up for Amazon Mechanical Turk and awaiting approval.

Yes I'm in Richmond as well and the Chinese people here are still the typical East Asian type. When I tell them I want to go to SEA, they jump and say things like:

1. "What! That place is so poor and behind!" Shit. SEA is rapidly developing (except for SG which has an HDI of about 0.9 and Timor Leste at about 0.85)

2. "What? Vietnam is a Socialist country! What? Thai women are all ladyboys! What? You will get killed by a typhoon in the Philippines?" Shit. How many of them have even explored SEA for themselves other than maybe going with a tour group?

3. "What? If I were your parent, I would STOP you from going there at any cost!" Shit. You think I consider that as a threat?

I know my f-ed up family will not approve of my decision to go to SEA (at least not the ones on my mom's side), so that's a dilemma. They want me to start uni in Canada. (sobs)

If I had a penny for every stupid person I've come across, I could buy my own continent.....
