So now the media is encouraging women to set the grounds for divorce right after they get knocked up. Because, as a pregnant mother, the first thing you should be thinking about when the test comes back positive is how much money you can get out of your husband when you divorce him.

You and your husband should sign a postnuptial agreement, one that clearly specifies how you would be compensated for forfeiting your highest-earning years should the marriage end in divorce.

Because getting to have the kids and run the house and someone else to foot the bill is not compensation e-f***ing-nough.

Well, far be it from me to deprive some princess of her highest earning years.

Why is there a need for this hairbrained postnup concept? Just another meaningless that is legal scam to make the lawyer who draws up this document richer.

The husband can state in this "document" a financial cap or some other limiting terms, but the judge is going to ignore it anyway and award the mother and children alimony and child support settlement so as to not leave them destitute.

Is this idea catching on anywhere else in the world?

Another reason NOT to marry!
