Whether it's a pay per letter or unlimited correspondence, I don't think they allow any exchange of contact information. So how are you ever going to meet them?
Winston, you have AFA listed here as "the largest and most reputable international romance tour operator", and your site has numerous ads for them. I can see why you would say they are the largest, but what evidence do you have to say that they are the most reputable? Not trying to challenge you or anything, just wondering if you know any specifics about them other than just talking to them on the phone. As big as AFA seems to be, you would think there would be quite a few actual users here talking about them, but there seems very little first hand info. Has anyone here actually used them in any way? Anyone actually been on their tours? Personally I have no interest in their tours, but they do have a massive database of profiles listed and I'm giving some thought to using them for that. It does seem (on their site) that you can contact the girls individually, but it costs $10 each to contact them and most (from the Philippines) don't have email addresses. Considering the normal response rate from these type of sites, and then an even smaller percentage of those ever showing up to actually meet you when you go there, that could get very pricey. As usual, you always wonder how many of the girls actually exist or would respond if contacted. For myself, I won't be actually going overseas until later this year, I don't think my trip is soon enough to contact anyone just yet. But before I send any money at all their way, would be interested in hearing feedback. Tony Bochene talks about John Adams as if he were Satan himself, and I do agree with what he says about the tours. But Tony comes off to me as a guy with some type of grudge and questionable credibility himself, so I don't know what to think about him.
Anyone have first hand dealings with AFA?
Well I am an AFA partner, so you are asking a biased source. :)

I say the most reputable romance tour company because they do. I'm going by what they say. Every company compares itself to a worse one. AFA is more reputable than Anastasia, so comparatively speaking, they are more reputable. There are not many romance tour operators to compete with anyway. Do you know another romance tour operator that's more reputable? Mark Davis is new. I'm talking about one of the big companies that do romance tours that are more reputable. Can you find any?

I've gone to one of their socials here in China. It was an interesting and fun experience and I met a quality woman there.

They have a plan where you pay $95 and you can get 100 emails from the ladies profiles, which comes out to one dollar per email. Not a bad deal, especially if the women are hot. ;) See here:

What I know of them is in Philippines, specifically Cebu, the price isn't all that bad for what is involved. They provide the hotel which is actually a pricey place there, the Waterfront hotel is roughly 80-100 dollars a day. (Note that on their website they refer to it as "The Agency Hotel" because they don't want you to know where it actually is. Same with their Cebu office, you can't find the address anywhere on the net and they won't even tell you if you call and ask. This is typical of the way they do things) But aside from the hotel and the two "socials" the rest of the money seems to go to simple tourism. They take you and the other guys around to various tourist spots, presumably with a girl you pick from the socials in tow. So for your $3100 you get two weeks of a nice hotel, two nights of socials, and lots of trips to various tourist destinations around the area. So let's say the hotel is worth maybe $1200. And let's say each social night might cost you $200, so that's 1600. The other 1500 goes to the tourist travels, their office, staff etc. That's a little over $100 a day, in the Philippines that's a bit of money. But if you're the type that needs your hand held, i.e. maybe you have never even been to a foreign country, then maybe all of that is worth something to you. It's not surprising to hear that it has worked for a few guys. Would be interesting however to know the exact percentage of guys who are successful on these tours. Anyway, I understand why they charge so much for them, but I just can't see myself ever going on one. I have talked about why in other places on this forum. I can understand why some guys do, despite the fact that in my opinion AFA is run by a bunch of sleazebags. I wouldn't trust them further than I can spit. Again, for reasons I have talked about elsewhere here.

Once again Winston, in your zeal to make excuses for them you leave out some pertinent details. On their site, as of today, they have 154,495 listings for the Philippines. Only 546 are listed as having emails, a fraction of 1%. Yes they have a plan, just not one you want to talk about here.

Again I will ask you the question you have refused to answer elsewhere here. Do you actually know anyone who has done this and been successful with it? Does anyone here reading this actually know anyone who has ordered an email from AFA and ended up with a successful marriage? Out of 154,000 just one? Anybody?

I think it would be better for you to just keep taking their money and not say anything. We all know the score here, at least most of us do.

I've been doing some R&D on AFA and I was just wondering if anyone here has any REAL success stories with meeting a good woman through this site.I find it hard to believe that so many good looking women can't land a foreign guy.Hell...some of the girls look like porn stars and you mean to tell me that some rich guy, from the Anglosphere,is not able to grab her off the site.Seems to me that alot of these girls might just be "professional daters" or models used to drum up business.
Here is an example of a girl who wrote to me last week.I'm not a paying member so I can't open her letter. She's 23 years old and has a 4 year old daughter. Why isn't she married to the local Costa Rican bank president or even the local cartel boss lol
Why the heck would she be interested in me,twenty years her senior and living in the Northeast with six months of winter  ...makes you wonder??!

I think some guys that use this service should be first timers that need help knowing the country and where to go.

Once they know they dont need the service and figure it out themselves.

I think afa is scamming a bit but its a business.

AFA is definitely doctoring photos of its Chinese women. 90% of their photos show very ample cleavage, but very, very few Chinese women have well-endowed chests. Something fishy going on with that.

You know why don't you? Most American men like the way American women are built, there isn't much complain about how AW look, it's how they act is the problem. White males especially love big breasts and it's everywhere, literately.

So in a effort to get men to join they flash women across the screen with huge tiddies. While it's generally rare that Asian women have larger than A or B Cups, some do have larger breast it's just nature or not.

AFA doesn't doctor the photos the agencies do and they try to appeal to what they believe is what a stereotypical White male likes.

If it was a site mostly for Black men you would see huge asses and if Black men are offended by that then tell Black women to stop posting arse picture on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.... Obviously even Black women think that's what you like.

I wonder if breast augmentation surgery is popular in China. Or, it may be that the company get lots and lots of applications in China, and they just pick the girls with breasts and have photographers position them to make them look even bigger. If they are trying to make money by getting men to pay for tours, they are probably selective about the girls they put on the site. If they have enough women apply, then they can be selective about who they show. I wonder what the gifts look like that the men meet when they go over there. Do they do the go-meet-the-girls tour in China?

Do you think most American men like fat women, then? :)

Hey check this out guys. If you want to verify if your AFA girl is for real, you can send her some flowers and receive a photo of her with them. What do you think? Would that allay your concerns? See the link below.

Winston, when you get an email, does it mean you can correspond with the girl offline (privately) and get her other info like Facebook, cellphone, etc.? Or do you does all your correspondence have to go through AFA system?

Great question. I think it depends on the agency doing the translation work. If the agency is translating the letters between you and her, the translators may edit out your email or social media contact (WeChat, WhatsApp, etc) if you give it to her, because they want you to continue paying for translation. But that's for the translation service. For some women, you can order their email, which means their personal direct email. If you see the profile page of the ladies, it will show whether their email can be purchased or not. The platinum membership I mentioned above is for the profiles with direct emails.

Winston wrote:Ok let me clear up some things based on what I know and what I've heard from my sources.

First, AFA is just the US office in Phoenix. The offices that handle the ladies profiles and translation services consist of 80 subcontractor agencies in different countries. Some of them may be involved in unethical practices, such as faking letters. But AFA has no control over that and can't police it. On a TV interview about that, AFA's President said that it's better to just go there and meet the women rather than depend on letter writing.
Then why even have the letter writing? He's collecting money for it so he is ultimately responsible for it. You can just say well it's one of the affiliates so we can't control it. BUT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE MONEY FOR THE SERVICE SO YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE! I am really sick of the buck passing I hear from these agencies and sites.
Winston wrote:AFA has been very professional when I dealt with them. Back in 2002, I arranged two introductions in their St. Petersburg office. When both ladies failed to show and stood me up, AFA refunded my money. No problem. And when I email them with a problem, they usually get back to me within one day. But you have to understand that they are a business and are professional salespeople. In the business world, professional salespeople are always going to highlight the pros of their products/services in the best light possible, not the cons. It doesn't make them bad or dishonest. That's just how salespeople in the business world are. No one who runs a business is any different.
That's because this agency (or more likely an 'affiliate' agency) in St. Petersburg works like most agencies. They keep ladies on their books without removing them for years even if they are no longer available. They want to make it seem like they have a big database when they don't. They also hope that the guy will not ask for his money back and many guys do not. That's how they make money.

You mean AFA has girls in their database that are not 'for real'? Wouldn't it be their responsibility to verify if the girl is 'for real'?

You mean I should spend more money with said company to check out something that they should already be doing?

What you say Winston never seems to make any sense.

Guys if I can drop my 2 pennies in, I know two girls (both from Davao, one of whom is actually sharing the house with me - she's my business partner's gf!) who had their photos posted on AFA.

Their business model obviously depends on the location, but they do have offices in several locations in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia. They get these "talent scouts" who will propose them a free photoshoot and free uploading on a site to find "foreign love", or something along those lines. Since, I believe, there is no female living being in all of the Philippines, of any age or status, who would say no to a free of charge photoshoot, most of them just say "yes", not knowing that those pics will be associated to a fake name and a fake profile (those profile descriptions are so obvious and repetitive, they could be generated via a software application) and stay on the site forever.

Some of them will not mind the pics being online well after they get married, others do get annoyed about somebody (often their boyfriends or husbands) spotting them and telling them to take them offline. Sometimes the local "offices" are reluctant to take down any profile, because it's one less click-bait chance. Sometimes they do it more swiftly.

The best part is that very, very few girls actually give the AFA agents their permission to be contacted for romantic encounters. Very few. One of these two I know was somebody I met 3 years ago: she was really, really hot, I mean model-hot. Her only bad was, she was from a Muslim family and too dark-skinned to be bankable to her fellow Filipinos.

Anyway, AFA agents do occasionally address contact requests, whether via mail or phone (the Davao agent also has a phone number), usually by foreigners already in the country (easier to pass by Davao for holiday than Odessa, that's for sure!). That means they will actually call the girl to ask for their availability and make the date happen. The issue is, that's only for the very few girls who gave away their permission and mobile number. I believe this number might be higher in the Philippines, and a lot lower in Latin America and Eastern Europe, where girls just go about their own life, have fun and can easily find a local man without having to dream of Jack the pot-bellied plumber from rural Virginia.

I looked the photo and these are not even real red roses. These are the cheapest flowers available. Also the box of chocolates is very cheap here in Ukraine. I've seen it in the supermarkets and it's the cheapest one. In other words the guy will spend $100-$150 for such a service and they will buy the cheapest in everything. What a scam.
