Winston - has anyone here been on a romance tour? I got told once that Russian tours are full of prostitutes, and Philippines tours full of women who want free food!

I'm not sure if either is true. Actually I think the tours would be gigantic fun, whether or not you're actually seeking a wife.

But the thing is, these tours are expensive, so it's not really fair on the men seeking brides if the women on the tours aren't really in it for the right reasons.

I'm thinking that one might be better off using a matchmaking agency in the country, such as Thai Professional Introductions.

If I'm here later in the year and still single I'll see if I can negotiate a good rate to attend one of the AFA China romance tours.

Although these social evenings are quite a common thing here, and will cost just $10 or something. Plus there will be 5x as many ladies as AFA could ever muster. I need to question my friend who attended one recently. A Western guy would be tremendously popular at one of these events!
