Is Dream Connections by Mark Davis worth the high price? Any experiences? (Uncensored Open Discussion)
Discussion for marriage-minded members seeking foreign brides for marriage and serious long-term relationships.
In the days before Uber at the airport taxi sharks wanted 1000 UAH to take me to my centre hotel in Odessa. I got one of them down to 300.
On the way back to the airport I flagged a taxi down in the street. He was only 50.
Uber X is not always the best though because sometimes the car is not in great condition. For a little more use Uber SELECT.
I can tell you of other times I was arriving in a city by train. When you get out of the train taxi drivers will approach you and ask if you need a taxi. Of course I needed a taxi because of my luggage so my strategy was to look at the taxi drivers in the face. Go for the older ones. They are more honest. The young guys will rip you off. So if it's an old guy and he has an honest face go with him. Don't even discuss fare. Just get in his car, even if it's old. When you get to the destination he'll tell you the price and it will be fair. Learn a bit of Russian as Frank says and you'll do fine.
Having made a round trip between Mykolaiv and Odessa on a couple of those buses, I didn't find it that bad. And this was in July. However, dealing with buying the tickets was a bigger challenge, I don't know the alphabet there. For a bus ride that is a couple of hours I would be happy to do it again.
I also took a few rides on the mini buses in Mykolaiv. Really cheap, but when it was standing room only, I'm taller than the headroom in the bus.
I was considering a DC tour but after reading this thread I'm having second thoughts???
I know personally several guys who are very happy they went on a DC tour. Personally, I'm not unhappy, but it might not be the optimal strategy for me. I will just have to see how things go on the second tour.
I thought someone said Mark doesn't allow guys to take second tours because it shows they were a failure on the first tour or that he was a failure in finding them a match.
Or is it third tours he doesn't allow? Someone will have to clarify that.
I know that AFA allows guys to take unlimited tours. Some of them are known as "tour junkies".
Mark is fine with multiple tours. I'm not sure where you got that idea. However, I suspect there are some people who are not welcome to come back because of their bad behavior.
This is where I get the idea from. This post (point 2)
Have you traveled abroad for dating before ? Were you considering a specific country or area ? Let us know some more about you and hopefully we can help with some advice.
If as an example, an American based International Dating Agency says they "don't pay" any of the ladies to attend the socials but everyone knows they use "local Ukrainian agencies" to find the women to help fill the socials. Do you think these "sub contracted local agencies" are paying some of the women to attend? This removes the liability from the original American based company and then they claim "we don't pay any women" to attend? While they (American Based Dating Agency) may not have personally paid women to attend, the agency they hired did pay them. Of course, the American agency can say, "oh we fully reject paid women to our socials" wink wink.. But, wow get her photo it's great eye candy for marketing. Do they really know what is going on with these independent local agencies who are sending the women or they do know and just pretend not too or maybe it's understood, "hey go over to the American agency for a brief interview and tell them you want a foreign man to marry, sign and take photo then return to local agency and we have nice paycheck for your work today. We will call you soon for more work with your contract agreement.
I've read it's common to pay some of the "very attractive" women who attend the social events upwards of 25 to 50 US dollars (very good money in Ukraine) which is a week's work or several days work in Nikolaev. These paid potential wive's or unpotential women attend a short 3 hour event to smile, act attentive to the guy, look pretty, talk, ask the client questions about himself, seem interested, take a few photo's and video's. What is the "legal arrangement" with both agencies for these women and is that privy for a client who paid 5000 to review? If the answer is no, then they just answered the question for you there is fraud involved AND some women are being paid to attend. Remember numerous videos say women are not paid to attend events. If the subcontractor pays the women then it should be a law this is fully disclosed to the paying client. why hide it? Why not have a "FULL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT THAT Some Women May Be Paid for Marketing and Advertising Purposes". Will most clients care if you are open to it? Probably Not but to hide this information is flat out unethical and very shady. If one woman is paid to be there it should be a law that this is disclosed to CLIENTS. Do the right thing and be OPEN ABOUT IT IF YOU ARE A HONEST DATING AGENCY! What if the original American based company uses photo's and video's, and interviews to market these beauties at the events creating an 'illusion" for men to come on the tours to meet these beautiful women for potential marriage when in actual reality they are hired as marketing tools and "eye candy" to sell more tours. While they may show many single mothers at the event, they also mix in and show "paid" model type beauties.
Basically, ANY UNETHICAL CROOKED COMPANY can say my company does not pay the girls to attend YET they pay the local agency to get them there. But in reality, the SUBCONTRACTED agency takes that same money, pays and hires very attractive women to attend the events and has an arrangement in contract and full disclosure form that they do not reveal they are paid or will be sued by the terms of the written contract. If some these women are being paid and men are being told all these women are serious and married minded and are not paid to attend, is this not extremely unethical and borderline business fraud? You see these beauties at the socials but never see them actually marry or develop relationships with the majority of the men. Sure, you see an occasional 5 to 10% get a woman but the whole system seems a bit like that shady timeshare business. You see in timeshare you bribe 100's of people to show up for gifts, cash and FREE trips and have a program where it's very lucrative and profitable if 5 to 10% buy the timeshare. Interesting, it seems about 5 to 10% is the normal marriage success rate who take this venture. In addition, is the client's 5000 dollars being used to hire the paid professional beauties that create the allure of grandeur as well? Have these local dating agencies in an extremely corrupt country ever been totally investigated and audited to see where the money trail leads too? Statistically, it's probably a proven model with the right management and process yields a 5 to 10% success rate of marriage. But would this be a good selling point? A youtube video that says pay 5000 dollars and out of 20 guys .. 2 of you will meet your wife??? why not report the truth? I will tell you why..
Hey guys look at these new living profiles introduced by Mark Davis. Mark claims this new format is ground breaking and revolutionary. I have to admit this format is a lot better than a still photo as you get a sense of her essence and personality. What do you think?

INS records show that the divorce rate among international marriages is about 20%, not the 54% that Americans experience. But yes, the marriages from DC are not all that old yet.
Mark is not actively soliciting his clients Are you still married? Are you still married? I am sure if there are some divorces he does not want to hear it because that does not fit in with his marketing campaign. The question is if a guy does come forward and say I am now divorced from someone I met on a DC tour will Mark publicise it? Of course not. If he is a genuine man of character he will stop making the claim.
By the way why are you saying DC marriages are not that old yet? Didn't Mark start his company back in 2011? That's 7 years of marriages.
