Yea, that's because the leaders of Japan and the West are are in the same bed. Japan got rich from stealing treasure from their surrounding neighbors in the past and it came to an end with Douglas Macarthur and WW2.
Japan made a deal to turn over untold amounts of stolen treasure to the US to escape war crimes, some of that treasure was then use to build up Japan economically after the war.
Also, some unknown amount of stolen treasure is still there in Japan, some of it is burred in the mountains, and the rest is in a ships/subs sunk out in the sea....
