Happier Abroad Forum Community

I've been to a few of those. Will hit another one very soon. What surprised me is that these cities are not small. It's not like the Philippines where you have a couple of major city developments and the rest is mostly rural. Some of these places, at least from the looks, are every bit as nice and high tech as Beijing, with the walls of video screens, bright lights and everything else. Went to some awesome bars in one of them too. Made me wonder, when did all this happen? Well, according to my girlfriend, none f this was there when she was in University, which was only a few years ago.
