I was met an American who had an arranged marriage to an Indian woman. He had been living at a yoga ashram in Pennsylvania and had the guru arrange a marriage for him. I honestly don't know much about the situation but I thought it was interesting. (personally, the wife wasn't physically attractive so I'm not sure why he did it).

Anyway, from what I've read most Indians in India will only marry other Indians. The exceptions would be divorced women since they're seen as "damaged goods".
