This good looking Turkish guy was recently accused of sexual assault (another to add to your list zboy) and has been barred from leaving country pending trial. He claims to have had consensual sex with about 500 Taiwanese women since he came here 4 or 5 years ago. 29 video files of him in sexual acts with some of these women were found by police in his apartment.

The fact that he was caught trying to sexually assault a woman and got busted for it indicates to me that he's a pretty sketchy guy and probably didn't have consensual sex with a lot of those girls. I have a feeling that he probably forced himself (maybe not outright rape in some cases) onto them and in Taiwan there's a lot of social shame in getting raped. Maybe the girls liked him initially but it was more of a date rape type situation.

Yep they are very well known for being rough like that. A guy like that got popped for rape in Changsha not too long ago too. He was so bold he was forcing himself on her in public. They say he was either arab or mid-eastern.

Even if he was legit, this is why I said many times before, you cannot keep f***ing around in places like China, without picking one and settling down at some point. All it takes is just 1 girl. 1 girl to say you did something bad and you are f***ed and if you don't end up in their jail for a long time, you will be deported and banned. If the girl lied, he will be deported for just having the videotapes. Taiwanese are not in China but they share those same feelings toward foreigners in many ways. I highly doubt they will tolerate a sexual deviant like him like most Western countries would.

1. For one he is very fluent in Mandarin.
2. He is a student at a private university (makes it tooo easy)
3. He has good looks and good game
4. He is half white
5. He gives off the aura that he is rich and is a Canadian (Some Chinese girls think Canadians are sweet and nice, perfect for a husband)

Yea, I bet Cent Uygur did some major damage before he got bogged down with his network. He was DJing in Miami for some years. Let's just say, Turkish guys tend to be pretty proactive about chasing women from what he's said about his fellow countrymen (and himself). Ironically to this particular story, Cenk ended up marrying a Taiwanese girl about 3 years ago.

Guy in vid reminds me a bit of my French tenant who also had a Mediterranean look (he's from Marseille). Like him, my tenant was a foreign student in a local uni (Zhen Da) which created a lot of opportunities he told me about. When he first moved in, one of his female classmates brought him here and was into him. Also, he would hit the clubs once or twice a week-end and I would say he brought a new gal back ever 2 weeks. Because he's stupid (if he indeed did that). Sometimes when a guy does too well with women, he thinks its a done deal with every date. Then he gets aggressive with the ones who resist his physical advances. He overestimates his charms and incorrectly assumes all women want him.

The police did not break into his home. They arrested him and conducted an investigation on the girls accusations. I don't think they even need a search warrant in such cases.

I had a good foreign friend who dated and slept with a lot of Taiwanese women. One morning at like 6 am, I got a call from him. He was in a Taipei police station being questioned on a rape charge. The girl he had picked-up the night before had gone home with him, had sex, and then left around 3 am. But then 2 hours later, police showed up at his door and took him to station. Fortunately, he took photos of girl without clothes and she looked happy and relaxed. They questioned him, went to search his apartment, examined photos, took his DNA, and released him after about 3 hours. They were polite and professional and didn't even hand cuff him. They let him go without bail.

His case went to trial many weeks later. Female judge asked him a few routine questions and then wondered whether or not they could destroy the SIM card with the girls photos. He agreed and with that she ruled not guilty. His DNA with police was to be destroyed too, not kept on file. In the weeks proceeding his trial, he was allowed to travel overseas and not watched or restricted. When he was questioned, police kept things quiet so no reporters found out.

After hearing whole story from my friend, I speculated that she probably had a boyfriend who gave her third degree when she came back so late so she made up some story about getting raped so boyfriend forced her to go to cops and report it. I knew the guy well and he's not the type to force anyone like that. He's had women turn him down before in his room and takes it in stride.

It's not a big deal to be on dating shows as a foreigner here. Most foreigners who wanna do some TV and variety shows have no problems getting on, esp. if they speak Chinese.

That particular show "Dating a Prince" can be very harsh. I've seen guys go on there and get completely blown-off by all 26 women after just initial introduction. The women push a Yes or No button which is openly displayed after intro and then several stages where they get to know more and more about the guy. Sometimes initial no votes become yes. But if at anytime before final stage, all votes are no, guy gets no date. You need to make it to final round then choose among all those who still have their yes lights on.

When you watch that show, you get a lot of clues for what typical young Taiwan women want and care about in a guy. I remember one buff 186 cm guy went out and did a dance with his shirt off in second phase showing off his muscles. After that, he lost like 8 votes and initially, he was only chosen by like 16 of the 26 in spite of being attractive physically. A couple of the girls said they thought he was too young (I think he was just 19 or 20).

Agree with your points 1-3. Here he would be considered white but with some Mediterranean/Spanish/Turkish blood, not half white. When you say half white, people think of half white half Chinese.

Canadian nationality doesn't have any special positive image here that I know of. In fact, I think Canadians are over-represented as English teachers relative to Americans (USA) and don't have such a great reputation for that reason. Cus a lot of the shit that happens here involving westerners seems to come from English teacher crowd. Professional expats are more highly regarded.

Bottom line is, the guy has a look and smile which many Taiwanese find attractive, approachable, and even alluring. That helps a whole hell of a lot for meeting girls here.

However, even many less qualified foreigners seem to do ok here. Remember that loutish fat f**k Canadian in Kaoshiung who was blackmailing his latest Taiwanese girlfriend. Even that guy was apparently intimate with at least 5 local girls according to news report.
