Or, better still, use it to your advantage. Nothing better for a young American stud to have rumours buzzing around about how hot and good in the sack he is :)

The Alpha Force Team's Night Out!

Postby mguy » Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:06 am

I make observations on Filipinas but last night I had the opportunity to observe the Roosh type (Western Alpha Male Types) as they were out in full force. They arrived as a pack. A muscular group of guys who were obviously trying to pick up females. This was in Makati. Below are three scenes and my observations.

Scene 1:

They entered with pomp and Alpha swagger.. but nobody paid attention.

Observation 1: the foreign effect is largely spent, seeing foreigner everyday has desensitized anything special.

Scene 2:

The hottest Filipina turned out to be a 21 (?) year old Fil-Am. Trust me when I say that she definitely passes the boner test. Alpha force makes a move on her. Her reaction? Cordial.. but she runs off. Seizing the opportunity (waiting in line) I grabbed her hand, locked eyes with her, and said, "are you American?" She calms down, she fixes her hair, and she smiles. I start a conversation with her. On cue, Alpha male group approaches me and congratulates me . They pat me on the back and saying things like I have good "game."

Observation 2: I don't think they understand. I have first dibs on all the girls here. This is Asia, bro. You get first dibs on hot white girls in America, but Asian girl in Asia is really for local consumption. I now enjoy the status you enjoy in the USA. It feels good.

Scene 3:

The second hottest Filipina (it's a tie actually) was a ballerina. Known in local culture and considered a local star. She is gorgeous AND sexy as f**k. Alpha group moves in. They employ bar tactics with a wingman to try and isolate the target while their Alpha male tries to charm her. All strategizing done in plain sight. Was it a success? It was a massive fail. She averts her glance hoping to get out of the predicament. She locks eyes with me, an observer and gives an inviting nod (i had already met her). I come over.

Observation 3: She wants to be seen with a local guy. Does she not want to be seen with a foreigner? Will she lose some status if she is seen with a foreigner like a common bar take home girl? I really don't know, but it sure felt like it.

---end---
The Alpha force team eventually huddles together and makes small talk with other foreigners. It was kind of sad to see and sadder to realize that other well intentioned foreigners (workers and cool traveling types) get stereo-typed based on the behavior of a few.

i'll eventually have a write up on this on the 3WH blog. And yes, I do have pictures.

That's what I'm worried about, if I ever find my self in that country, am I going to be dismissed for being bold when I'm not even trying to be "Americanized alpha" ?

I asked for one girls number flat out in china just to be texted that I should pick up girls in my own country and that I was shit....not the first number I've got, but the first time I've had a response and it was a negative one, who gives there number out to insult the person, if anything I'd expect that in the US.

Damn dog, that was flat out cold, dude....What a bit*h!

See...the more I stay in China, the more I'm starting to really dislike Chinese females quite a bit (even though I like living in China)...

I talked with other expats (both White and Black) and they also are somewhat negative on Chinese females, so it isn't just people on this forum that feel this way.

I know Kai1275 is having an absolute fit with all the negative comments written about Chinese females lately on this board. The only other people that I know of with a Chinese women (and who still view Chinese females very highly) are the Adventurer and JamaicanInChina (who are both Black like Kai). Chinese women must really love Black men, then! LOL.

Ghost had a wonderful time in the Philippines (and he and I talk) so, I'm really starting to get tempted to go to the Philippines or Southeast Asia. That is my future destination.

Is it she wants to be seen with a local guy or the fact that they are aggressive Dbags? Most of that doesn't even work in the states except for slutty sorority type chicks.

And I am on the fence about your assertion that high to middle class girls don't like foreigners or would rather not be seen with them. I know 5 Filipina-American marriages here in the U.S. Two of the girls went to UP and lived in Makati, one went to La Salle and has a decently wealthy fam. The girl I dated for 8 months was a high end CPA for an American based company with a condo in Makati and had no problems with money. Her best friend was a real estate broker and had a filipino boyfriend who was a doctor. My gf at the time talked the girl into having a threesome with me if I came back (unfortunately we broke up before then haha). Her fiance now is a Swiss man and they live in Singapore. Though I haven't dated many filipinas I do have many friends I talk with frequently, from province but live in Manila. Some are engineers others are CPA's and managers. High class by no means but definitely would consider them middle class. Some are dating or are in the process of marrying foreigners, others have filipino boyfriends but would have no problem with dating foreigners. Hell I even had one of my friends friends flirting with me in front of her Fil bf. Telling her bf I was manly and how he needed to workout like me. Another girl I dated came from a wealthy half chinese family. She was sexy as hell. She had no regrets at dropping 5k usd in a casino in one night. She flaunted me like I was a toy. My friends cousin was a doctor and wanted to marry me. haha regret passing that one up. I'm white and got plenty of attention and not just from poor girls.

Now I'm a pretty decent looking chap, muscular and athletic as well as young. Just turned 24. So my observations may be biased. Though I can appear to be a Dbag, I'm actually a down to earth nice guy that knows how to interact with filipinas. I have a very outgoing and goofy personality. I understand the culture and have a general interest and I'm not aggressive. Those are perks that are beneficial to me over there. I will agree that Upper class girls will be quite rare and hard but come on, where in the world aren't they. Try getting upper class girls in NYC. And these girls maybe a little naive but most understand that foreigners are there for a short time and that the chances of it working out are slim. But hey if say a white or black high end good looking rather young executive for ADB is living in Manila I bet he can pool some serious women.

I even asked my filipina friends why they were interested in Foreigners and not filipinos and they all responded with these responses
1) Foreigners are handsome
2)Filipinos are players and have little to offer
3)They want to travel and explore
4) They want a half caucasian baby
5) They've been cheated and lied to by filipinos

Mguy you make good points and I realize mine is just an opinion and observation as well but I believe your assertion is heavily blown out of proportion. Sure there are some girls that feel it may ruin their reputation by going out with foreigners but those are generally limited to the upper class spoiled girls who are probably dual and not worth dating anyway. Middle Class girls are very attainable.

I knew a guy like that. He was in his 40's but decent looking. After working in LA forever, he got a high end gig in Singapore. Quickly, the pics started coming back of him on boats with hot asian girls in bikinis, likely from those side trips to Thailand or whereever. Didn't take long for his marriage to a western woman to go KAPUT.

So where are girls not like that? I think you could replace "Filipinas" above with girls from many other countries or parts of the world and not be far off the mark. It's not like Filipinas are special for acting this way. It's kinda female human nature, don't you think?

Filipinas or any other foreign women who have lived in the U.S. have been totally Americanized and you might as well refer to them as asian-americans. They aren't regular Filipinas..so your experiences with these women in the U.S. has nothing to do with the Philippines.

What I don't quite get so far is that while there may be this stigma against white westerners and perhaps some other types of foreigners, when I turn the TV to local channels, I see so many stars and celebs (soap operas, commercials, and variety shows) who appear to be clearly mixed to some degree with white blood or even virtually Caucasian. The TV world here looks so different than what you see in the real Philippines, even in the capital. You might say the same thing about Thailand but I think the contrast is a sharper here plus in Thailand, the celebs tend to be more NE Asian looking while here there is a very strong white component.

I remember sitting out at Starbucks in Powerplant Mall the time I met mguy and looking at all the local people around me. Powerplant Mall is a boutique mall in the very upscale area of Rockwell, Makati. Yet even there, most of the people around were a lot more indigenous looking than what you see on TV. Presumably, what you see in the popular media is what is held in high esteem by the broader society. So while there may be bias against some foreign looking people, I think there is also some social advantages accorded to those who are of mixed heritage, even if they look virtually foreign. By perception, they seem to be considered as generally attractive, often sexy, and more exotic (not the exotic as code word for ugly but genuinely exotic).

Even in the provinces, I think mixed kids or foreign looking kids may receive special treatment and be accorded better. I'm opportunities than the regular looking kids, all else equal. This is a dynamic I would like to learn more about. Phils. is a very interesting mix of east and west and I' still observing and trying to learn. So far, I've got more questions than answers though.

You are on to something publicduende. I observed the following to be a truism.

It is virtually impossible to meet a mainstream Filipina virtually.

The reality is, if you want to get "normal" girls, you would have to be integrated into society. Only then will the normal girls open up to you. When they do ... expect a flood.

I agree. Upper middle class Fiipino families are usually of a (relatively) purer ancestry and they are as conservative and "tribal" as it gets. I'm not talking Ayalas and Perez de Tegle here, but even the average Chinese-Filipinos in Davao mainly marry into their own community. The problem is exactly about "integrating into (their) society". It may take years and tears, neither of which the average working American on vacation has in abundance.

Now, if you correspond to the description above you may just be the perfect (stereo)type of a foreigner for a middle class/rich Filipina. Basically, you're good looking and young enough so anyone walking with you will have zero doubts that she's not going out with you because she needs money. They told me half of the prettiest girls in Zamboanga City have young bfs or husbands from the US Army or Navy. They won't care that a mid-20 soldier is a relatively pennyless specimen of an American: he's young, probably better looking that the average divorcee, and will save her face". What more are you looking for? :-)

I think the mentality in the Philippines is different from anywhere else in asia. I have nothing to back this up with but i'll be visiting the Phil very soon to judge for myself but based on the regular Filipinos I have met they have almost a weird deference for white people that I don't see in other asians. It goes beyond standard friendliness..it's a very hard rooted colonial type of mentality.

I have met many mixed people (luk kreung) in Thailand to know what their experiences are like. Unless they come from high-society parentage or are very physically attractive (ie. models) they are limited in what they can achieve in Thai society. That's why a lot of them end up in fluff entertainment roles but aren't usually found in the power positions in Thai society such as politics or the upper tier CEO/wealth positions. However even the really attractive luk-kreung tend to be very "Thai" in behavior and mentality. They (men and women) usually end up dating Thais.

I think in the Philippines you have these long running powerful colonial families that date back to the Spaniard days. So they provide a "model" of a political and socially colonial family unit. Maybe some Filipinos wish to be a part of what they perceive to be the upper crust colonial society so they are subconsciously big believers in race eugenics..ie. always seeking to mix race with white to raise perceived class.

Whereas in Thailand unless the parents are both pretty reasonably well off there's actually some stigma to being mixed too. If they can't describe how their western mom or dad met their thai parent and what occupation they're in then they can get looked down on too.

Sorry I may not have clearly stated what I meant. I mean I know 5 well actually four men who had met their filipina wife online and eventually went there and stayed for several months before they decided to marry. These girls had grown up their whole life in the Phil. so I don't understand what difference its makes that they are now in the U.S. They still had to go out on a limb and seemed to have no problem dating Foreigners. One had actually been engaged prior to a Big time Filipino CEO. The fifth couple is actually my ex-gf and her fiance. They met at a resto in Manila.

And as I stated I agree that due to my description I maybe treated quite different in comparison to older foreigners. However, in many times I actually felt my age could have hurt me do to some girls believing I was a player and not serious. These were girls from online and a few I had met. Most filipinas who are looking for marriage in my opinion are happier with the 30-40 age range. I had several girls say I was attractive but too young. And those girls were younger than I was.

If you come here for two weeks -- what you get is marketing. A whole lot of female marketing. I'm 100% serious.

It takes awhile to see the spiders of a person.

It reminds me of this video. Must watch for any guy I think.
