This doesn't really show that the jobs are easy to get - it just shows that they want certain types of people for the jobs. In this guy's case he is a young, good looking white American who may be a greaser but these days passes as Anglo. Hence he is basically guaranteed a job in crappy Kindergarten teaching in Asia. People seem to want to believe it is your performance in the interview that gets you the job, for some reason. Really it is 95% their preconceived notions, and maybe 5% your performance. And a lot of the guy's bad behavior could be (erroneously in this case) put down to cultural differences, so it is not surprising that he got the job. In any case, the job sucks. For a man, teaching Asian Kindergarteners should only be considered if the only other option for survival is murdering someone, turning yourself in, and being boned up the ass in prison for the next 20 years in order to obtain food and board.

Teaching kindergarten in Asia is almost pure hell and torture, no doubt, but the money is actually pretty good in some cities.

You can make decent cash doing it. Guess it's better than flipping burgers back home for most people.
