First Trip

I am in Angeles City for almost two weeks. This is my first trip to the Philippines. So far I have moved out of my hotel. I have an apartment here, and purchased a second hand motorbike yesterday. I found a bank that let me open an account since I have a permanent address. I got my driver’s license at the LTO two days ago. I am going to stay at least six months. I really like driving my motorbike around. At first it seemed like complete chaos but now I see a certain rhythm to how traffic flows here, and I really enjoy driving around looking at stuff.

I have been quite busy doing stuff getting settled in here. But…. Even with all of this going on. I have had more company here the past two weeks than I have had the past 15 years in America. The only time I am alone here is whenever I choose to be alone so I can catch up on my sleep. I have met several girls here some are bargirls but I don’t really go to the bars. I had my very first threesome here and it was everything I had ever dreamed of. I have a girl over right now who has been cooking me food all day, and she is doing my laundry right now outside on the back porch with a bucket. I really like her, she is sweet, and wants nothing from me other than my time.

I did a lot of research before I came here, and this website has helped me a lot. I appreciate it. I hope to get out of Angeles soon and explore more areas but for now I am happy here. I am MUCH happier here than I could have ever dreamed of back home.

:D

Sounds to me like someone is Livin' La Vida Loca over there! That's amazing, man! I am very happy for you. More men should just take the plunge and go out there. You'll never know if a place is for you unless you take your chances and go for it.

Enjoy yourself to the fullest, experience new experiences, eat new types of food, have lots of fun with the girls and hopefully you will find just what it is you're looking for. If ever you feel like you've seen enough of Angeles, don't be afraid to hop on your motorcycle and explore other regions of the Philippines. The South of Luzon, Pagudpud and the Chinese Sea coastline are very beautiful, there's many mountains that are worth seeing and a flight to Cebu is easily booked. Broaden your horizon, travel around, and find the place that is perfect for you.

Ingat, brother! :D

It sounds like you having a blast MR2, congratulations! Winston also mentioned that the first time he went to the Philippines he was getting more attention from girls in his first week than he got his entire life in the United States.

Keep us informed as to how things go for you in the Philippines. :D

Sounds good, I should really visit the Philippines some day. What do you do for money? Are you working there or did you make plenty of money back home?

Also what's the food like there? I'm in Barcelona right now and the food here is incredible. Can you get Spanish food in the Philippines (although it's better to say it's Catalan food here).

I know the Philippines are good for girls, but if the food's not right I wouldn't be comfortable there.

How did you meet, details please  Is this p4p or did you just hook up?

Sounds a lot better than SouthAmerica. They're friendly here but they really won't go much out of their way to swoon you like that.

Not to hijack the thread, but i would call this a nice middle-ground. They will give you ONE look, if you're lucky TWO looks and a smile. After that, 95% of the entertaining burden is still on the guy, they're not desperate in any way. It's still got great value though since the girls are REALLY hot and your looks are not important.

Now,the stuff you guys post about the Filis is out of this world

I was on my motorbike coming home from the gym near my hotel.(tune) I seen these 2 girls walking by and pulled up next to them. I said hello, and they started asking me where I was from, etc. I asked if they wanted to come to my room and one girl said “you want both of us”. I said yes! They said 1000 each. I said 1500 for both and they said ok. I ended up giving them 1000 each because they just REALLY earned it.

The girl who cooks and does my laundry she just likes hanging out with me. She wants a serious relationship. I have never been with such an aggressive girl who wakes me up in the middle of the night. She is a province girl dancing in a karaoke bar. She has been leaving stuff at my apartment like her clothes, tablet, sunglasses. I have an idea what she is up to.

I am Retired from IT. I am 41. I look early/mid 30’s. I don’t have a ton of money, but I saved up for several years while alone in the US. My house is paid off, and I am going to rent it out soon. My apartment here is 14,000. It’s about a half mile walk from fields and walking street.

My first few days here I was starving. Once I rented a motorbike I found jollibees and was eating there. Once I got an apartment I started trying the little small restaurants nearby with older Filipina women cooking. Some of that stuff is amazing, and I spend about 100 pesos there. I always leave with a small bag of stuff to eat later. There are a few buy one take one burger stands near my apartment for 25pesos I get 2 burgers. A pizza place near my apartment has an entire pizza for 70 pesos. Girls here love that pizza too. There are grocery stores in the malls here, and they have all kinds of stuff. The only problem is the refrigerators here, they are so small. Every apartment I looked at had small ones. You can get one that is descent for about 400 bucks at the mall delivered.

There are some really nice places to eat here in some of the hotels. I spent 6 bucks for some pancakes at the place next door to my hotel, and they were made by a professional chef. You could always hire a maid here who can cook. She will go to the store for you too.

Congratulations MR2! I'm glad to see someone is living the life. It is so laid back over there. Everything you talked about brings back lots of memories. I was in AC visiting Winston about 8 years ago. You are braver than me, I've only driven a motorbike in the Provinces. What did you have to pay for your used bike? Have you met many expats living there? Is it crowed with tourist? Your girl definitely wants to move in and be your regular. I think it's good to have a GF because the smarter ones know a lot of inexpensive places to get food and can make traveling easier. I've been to 10 islands. I've gone with my GFs to many local places and had great food too. How big is your apt? Does it have hot water and AC? Is it in a complex with other expats? What do the utilities run? Do you have internet? If you rent out your condo back home will that cover all your expenses in Phil?

Enjoy every minute of it! :D

As far as the food goes in the Philippines, it can be pretty good. I think Thailand is better. in a city you can get all kinds of food. The food is better in Visayas than in Luzon. Much better seafood there. The water buffalo is very good lean beef. Python tastes like chicken. All the food is natural and fresh. If you live there it is easy to stay thin. :D

I paid 38,000 php for my bike. It is one owner. My neighbors told me to buy new but I wanted a used bike that I didn't have to worry so much about getting stolen, and I was paying 300php daily to rent one that was a piece of junk.

My apartment is one bedroom, one bath, full kitchen with 2 ac. It is 14,000 php monthly. I am upstairs with only one neighbor next door. There is a hot water thing in the shower that you turn on and it works pretty well. Girls that come here just love using the shower, that is the first thing they want to do. I have seen 2 expats that live here. One is next door. I seen another guy who comes and goes downstairs. The rest are locals. I have not gotten a bill yet for my electric and water. There is free wifi included with my rent. The apartment is furnished but I had to buy a rice cooker, and a small toaster oven. I am about 1/4 - 1/2 mile from walking street. The entire apartment complex is fully gated with cctv. There is a guard in the front at night, and a guard in the back at night. I feel perfectly safe walking around this area all by myself at 3am. There are expats all over the place walking around, and most are way older than me. I do hear alot about the bars getting raided by the police here, and everyone inside goes to jail.(usually under age girls involved). I have only been to the bars here twice, and I don't stick around there for long.

I take my bike all over this area, but it is too small to get on the expressway so I will have to find another way to get to subic later on. Angeles is more of a hub for me. I can take a taxi back to manila, or a bus at the swagman and get on a plane without having to actually stay in Manila. I want to stay near the beach.

Some of the girls just look at me a certain way so I turn around and pull up beside them say hello, and use my hand to tell them come here. I ask their name, talk to them for under one minute, and then ask "can I have your number?" I still struggle with doing this though, as almost every girl here has an amazing body in shorts with half her ass hanging out or a skin tight mini skirt on. There are SO MANY girls here! I am so used to an extremely high rejection rate in America so being here has been good therapy.

The girls here make it easy too! If they are interested in me then they will let me know. They will stare at me with a certain look, and then smile. The rest is up to me. Some are professionals and want to be paid for short time/long time, some are seriously looking for a bf. They make their intentions clear pretty fast.

Be careful of the electric bill if you using refrigerator...It will eat all the units more than bar girls :) ...expect the bill to be around 5000 if you use refrigerator and air con.

You've got a great life! I'm glad to see someone living it. You can take a van or bus easily to Subic for the beach, but it isn't a very good beach. There are buses that allow you can travel all over the Philippines. As you said, you can take one to Manila and fly to any island. I basically do the same thing you do to meet girls when in the Philippines. I walk up to any girl on the street I like and get their number if they're interested. As you said they'll let you know immediately if they are interested. I have met some very nice girls in the Philippines. Best of luck and keep us informed. :D
