Sex tourism in the Philipines and false accusations of rape

Post by gmm567 »

I just read a report about a guy who was falsely accused of rape . He didn't even have sex with the bargirls in question.

Seems that when you bar fine, there isn't any real promise of sex. So in that instance, the girl went to his hotel room, said she was a virgin and didn't want to have sex. They slept together (no sex). She left the next morning. Then the cops showed up and told him they are investigating him for rape. They took him down for questioning and told him the charges could be dropped if he paid 100k peso.

The cops are corrupt and running scams like this? Have you guys heard of this kind of thing?

how the f**k do you avoid something like that? Don't take her to your hotel? Are there rooms you can rent
right at the bars?

That is misleading, the guy probably picked up the girl on the street. If you are picking up a girl off the street or in areas that aren't common to foreigners, then you may be a target of a scam.

It's not a problem much, when you barfine a girl you will get sex. The girl will tell you before hand if she doesn't want to have sex with you. If they say they are having menstruation, they are saying in a nice way they don't want to be with you.

I think you're getting too paranoid reading all the negative stuff you might find on the interent. Unfortunately this is common with Americans as we are constantly fed bull shit by the media thinking everything is doom and gloom. Americans need to break out of this brainwashed habit, by taking the chance to go overseas. Once they do they will realize how foolish their original thoughts and actions were and realize the United States is the actual dangerous, dysfunctional social place, rather than the destination they are fretting about taking for their vacation.

Scams like that usually happen to those foreigners who are super rich, based on the hotel they're staying at and how much cash they're throwing out per day. They do not target random foreigners who may be on a budget.

They usually happen with street walkers.

Some bars have little rooms you can rent but they usually are crappy rooms with lots of noise around it and the girls that go in there feel rushed to hurry up. They say "short time" is three hours, but it's really after you cum. So if you cum in 30 minutes, the girl will try to leave, unless she likes you a lot.

I don't get why they say 3 hours though since they never actually spend three hours with you in that crappy room.

3 hours?! You must be a porn star, on some kind of substance or have a medical problem if you can perform for that long!

But in reply to this topic, you can get scammed ANYWHERE! I remember hearing on the news about guys getting robbed at gunpoint when they meet with an escort, whether street walkers or at their hotel room, and this is in California. It can happen to anyone and anywhere. You've just gotta exercise common sense and have some caution, and if you are still just that unlucky to get scammed, then too bad, that's life. Again they can happen to anyone, although very unlikely. If you're the paranoid type, you probably shouldn't leave your home, let alone visit other countries. :)

Winston, I've heard that they'll want about 2k in Dollars. They know that a lot of people are there for two weeks so the mark will have a good 2k.

If it happens, you want to contact our embassy. Or have a friend do it. There are other things you can do to--to be honest--like surreptiously video record things. I know it sounds going to an extreme, but the philipines is considered to be the most corrupt country in Asia-according to the UN and other international organizations. But you guys are absolutely right that scams can occur in any country.

Keeping a low profile, as winston is saying is a good idea too. Don't go back to the most expensive hotel in the city. Tell everyone you are on a tight budget. Don't brag about how much money you made in the US.

Having said all that, I am still coming. Where could you screw 100 good looking chicks for 2,500? In germany, if they spent the night, it would probably cost you 30,000 dollars. Here in the US, probably $150,000.

And S, you said " the United States is the actual dangerous, dysfunctional social place." I agree, you may very well be right. I've got to come and see for myself. The go-go bars I've seen on Utube seem like nice clean establishments-definitely not the run down seedy places I would assume they would be. They look like a place you'd see in Las Vegas.

Just go to Angeles City, there will be plenty of girls to choose from and if you get a big enough room barfine as many as you want and have a huge orgy, video tape it! Do whatever the hell you want, cause you got the bucks they want...

Most of the bars are decent, some better than others of course. Hotels, I like to not spend over 1000 a night on a room, but if you got money you may want to budget and get around 1500 a night. Th hotel/rooms will be pretty nice, but not over the top that makes you say you got money. IF you get the hotels where a room costs 2000 or over and your hanging around in the city for a while, word will get around pretty fast that you got money and your a spender. Every bar you go to that knows you, you won't get much peace or relaxation as they will be bugging you to buy drinks an all kinds of extra shit.

Just PM and let me know when you plan on coming we can work something out where i can show you around, at least in Manila anyways as that's were I am based. Depending on how long you stay in the city, I can show you some really fun places and keep you out of getting scammed too until you get to know what you doing.

Thanks a bunch S. It sounds like a lot of fun, especially with someone who has lived there for a time. I could really get clued in and get a sense for the whole place. Awesome.

I'd tell you that I would buy you a beer, but i won't. Instead, I'll buy you "barfine" --some p***y!

W: Well no I don't perform for three hours. But if I'm with a girl in bed for three hours, I do it once, then rest and talk a while, maybe even order food or room service, then do it again later. I like to do it twice if she's really hot.

W: Well people in Angeles know me and know that I'm a cheapskate and live in a poor neighborhood. The guys who are targeted tend to stay in the most expensive hotels or live in fancy gated neighborhoods.

I can easily prove I'm poor to someone who wants to scam me or extort me, by taking to them to a computer and showing them my bank account balance on my bank's website. Plus I can bring them to this forum where critics are bashing me for being lazy and not working and not having a job, etc. and where I admitted that my income is small.

So I have ways to back up my claims.

I heard of a guy in Angeles who was really rich and spending around 1000 dollars a day at the bars, most of it he threw around by buying every girl in the bar a drink by ringing the bell, a total waste of money I think since you get nothing for it. It's a totally illogical thing to do. That guy eventually became targeted. An underage girl tried to go in and set him up, I heard. But it failed because the man was in Manila and his friends who had inside knowledge told him about it and not to come back to Angeles. So he got off lucky.

The scams have decreased though because someone's been exposing them on sites like http://www.centralluzoncorruption.com which posts names and pictures of scamming policemen. No one knows who owns the site, but supposedly, it's some Filipina American chick.

BTW, when you come to Angeles, don't follow any trike drivers anywhere who offer to show you around or help you.

I heard a story where a trike driver took a foreigner to a house where some guys came out and captured him, demanding 10,000p. He didn't have it on him, so he offered to get it from his hotel if they took him. So they brought him to his hotel and when he got inside, he escaped and called the police. lol. That should tell you how stupid these scammers can be.

W: In a Nevada brothel, a girl I thought was hot said for us to spend the night in her bed in the brothel would cost around 2000 dollars. Not 150,000!

well I know but I said, if you got 100 of them. $2,000 x 100 is what? You're looking at $200,000.

Now in the Philipines 100 would cost you $2,500!

What that version of the story misses to state is that she has recently "emigrated" to the United States! Hmmm? How the hell did that happen, and now she is recanting her story all of a sudden?!

This is why guys need to get their head out of their asses when dealing with woman from any country, as woman generally are less trust worthy then men. The media just makes it seem like men are evil bastards and all that. In my life I've had more issues with woman than men for sure.
