Does the Russian national anthem sound like a symphony?

Does the Russian national anthem sound like a symphony? Like this clip of the 2010 Winter Olympics closing scene. Russian national anthem is one of my few favourite anthems. I think some Canadian Olympic men there wants some of these Russian ladies.

The music is exactly the same as old USSR anthem. They changed the lyrics a bit. So it's actually Soviet Anthem remixed ;) Like it a lot. Although, these words are strong, Soviet anthem words are SO strong, not even able to explain! So much will, so much soul and strength... Soviet anthem was playing on the radio in the morning and at night in my apartment when I was growing up, after 20 years of country being non-existent, I can still sing it. USSR was a true superpower for a reason.

LOVE the Russian anthem, IMO the best major country anthem ever.

IMO #2 is France, though not the bullshit lyrics.

But anyway here's one I just ran across that I want to share - the anthem of Spanish Falangists, Cara al Sol (Face toward the Sun):

I love the Russian national anthem too. It sounds very deep and soulful. Much better than the stupid American "Star Spangled Banner" which is not deep or soulful at all.

I first heard it in the movie Rocky IV where they play it in Moscow before Rocky and Drago fight in the arena.

I am a musician and a very deep listener of music. From the national anthems I have surveyed, the Russian anthem is clearly the best and most moving. IMO, the French anthem, while stirring, is too fast. My anthem, the USA anthem is overrated, although it gives the singer the greatest test (one would need to have a range of 2-1/2 octaves to be able to sing it in every key); the song "America" would be better, and give the Russian anthem a run for its money.

One type of patriotic song that the USA has that is the best is the march, being of course "Stars & Stripes Forever". No other march really comes close.

I thought I was the only one who liked it. It's pretty great.

Beautiful Old Russian Waltzes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY298YD2kZw

Wow these classic Russian waltzes sound very classy, elegant and romantic, produced by great Russian composers. You can sense in this music how deep and rich the Russian soul is, or was at least.

Also see and hear this one:
