Doesn't matter if it's already been posted elsewhere on this forum. Most people, including me, have a very incomplete picture of this.
If you consider all foreign wives as "mail order brides" you're probably victim of sensationalist propaganda or simply revel in your own ignorance.


Someone should buy this ^ film from 2003 called "In The Name of Love" about Russian "mail order brides" and upload it for the rest of us to see for free. It would be interesting to see the conclusions it draws. Some girl cussing out Winston in his guestbook mentioned it

I have a few comments on these.

1. British chick in the second video! She is definitely good looking.

2. Village guy in the second video - WTF did he expect? He is old, he lives in a shithole, people in Russia that are way more poor live much better - if you are a guy, fix your walls, paint your house etc. What woman would want to live like that?

3. First video - just shows how stupid many American guys are that come to Russia to meet women. Also shows how retarded some of those Russian girls are. I never admitted all of those girls are perfect, some of them will enjoy using you for money, like anywhere else in the World. But many American guys have romanticized the women they are about to meet in Russia - that those girls will be loving, caring and cleaning. Some American guys openly stated that it is cheaper for them to bring a foreign wife. Somehow douchebags like that get very decent and honest wives that looked for loving husband, but instead they get into slavery once they come to the U.S.

TO SUMMARIZE: you HAVE TO move and live in the country where you are trying to meet your wife!!! Live there for a few months, for a year, travel frequently etc. Giving away a lot of money to a dating agency is just dumb in my opinion, there are so many girls on the street you could meet.

Also coming from first video - there is a HUGE difference in culture, behavior, thinking etc. That blonde that was shown there - she is trash, of course American "White Trash" never looks that good, but by Russian standards she is a slut or whore. Nevermind education, status or employment, she is one of those that have no decency at all. Girls like her will dump you once they get their papers in the U.S. and here that bitch will be the rock star! She will get so many more men chasing her ass. I always make fun of them when I meet girls like that. So basically if you bring a Russian girl like that blonde in the first video you are getting the same shit - bitchy greedy woman with no heart or soul.

what is the russian perspective on alimony. when the man breaks up with the kids. do the majority of russian women walk away without alimony. they have no problem taking care of the kids on their own right ? thanks again buddy for the great insight.

Why are you placing any credibility in videos? They are staged and scripted by a writer with an agenda, which may be nothing more then the intention to entertain. Do you really want to base your life decisions on trash information? You really have to go to a country in person and form your own opinions. You won't know how the local people react to you as an individual (and not someone else posting a story) until you go yourself.

Absolutely. But videos might help people get mentally prepared, and recognize what to avoid or at least be cautious of.
