of course dont expect that you'll meet tons of 20 to 25 year olds desperate to go out with you, but after 25 a lot of colombian women are more mature and want to settle so you'll be a good choice!!!

stay away from places where western men hang out (plenty of flaky colombian girls and hookers).... if u want to meet real colombian women with good values befriend colombians and when you trust them ask them to take u to their family reunions, or small town celebrations or introduce u to their circle of friends.

As a westerner hanging out alone you'll end up with other westerners in hang outs where westerners go and those are filled once again with sleazy women looking to make money outta u.

The point is, at least in Colombia, if you're 45 or 50 you won't need to date a 25 years old, because 35 or even 40 years old are just as hot! They are just as feminine, they know how to take care of themselves and when age starts to hit, excellent value for money aesthetic surgery comes to their rescue. Plus, a navigated woman like that will know what tricks to pull, whether in a social situation or in bed.

Seeing is believing.

There is a regular commenter on Marky Mark's blog who is around 70 years old. He lives in rural Mexico and has a wife several decades younger than he is. So it is possible to get younger girls than you normally would in the states. But like publicduende wrote, Latin American women age a lot better than their North American counterparts. This is even evident in places like San Diego and San Antonio, where I chatted up some middle-aged Mexican-American women who were very attractive for their age. Not to mention a lot friendlier.

Does that mean that they're more likely to dump their husbands, if the husband is much older than she is?

Help me out, guys: I'm chatting with a girl in the Dominican Republic who's great in every way, but she's only 20 and I'm 45. She hasn't given any signs of being a scammer or a gold digger, so I have to wonder: Is this too good to be true? Even in the Dominican Republic, most 20-year-old girls aren't interested in guys my age. What would make an attractive young girl interested in a guy old enough to be her father?

I don't believe so, but I don't have enough data points to make any definitive conclusions one way or another. The 71 year-old's Mexican wife appears to be very loyal from what I've gathered.

If you bring her back to the USA it's all over, unless maybe you are really handsome or have SOMETHING special that clicks with her. It could be money, but it could also be a commanding personality, or maybe you're an awesome guitarist and she loves that, or maybe you write poetry that moves her. Who knows?

OUTSIDE the US age really matters a LOT less. My Korean girlfriend was 20 years younger than me and she KNEW I didn't have jack. Her parents, while not quite rich, were pretty damn well off.

Hate to say this but most likely it's money (obviously). This doesn't mean she is ONLY after your money, but money/ a better life is almost certainly an important factor in why she is interested in you.

But this isn't some poor girl from the ghetto. She's in college studying civil engineering, which tells me that she comes from a well-to-do family and that she can expect a decent career in a few years. I know there's a good chance that she's after my money; but there's also the possibility that she's so smart and mature that guys her own age bore her, and she feels a real connection with me.

Dominican Republic is pretty close to the US. Why don't you arrange to meet her? That would impress her alright!

Well, I don't know this girl, but in Peru I knew lots of girls that went to college but where very poor (they lived in the slums). College isn't that expensive in some of these countries (but the quality isn't very good either). Again, I may be wrong and if she is indeed from a wealthy family than obviously she is not after your money.

Yes, of course I've arranged to meet her. Going there for a romantic vacation with her is no problem. The problem is deciding whether she's wife material.

Going to uni is not that expensive and certainly does not mean she's from a well-to-do family. Understand, even if she graduates, she may have a tough time making a salary of even US$1,000 a month. 42,000 Pesos a month sounds like a very high salary there and many professionals make much less. So going to the US would be a major upgrade for her.

Secondly, you've got to understand, Domicana culture can be very rough for women. Guys tend to be very possessive and often violent if they get jealous. So women get beaten badly there by their significant others all the time. Not all local guys are like that but many are. Moreover, it's a very dangerous environment where you have a high risk of being assaulted or mugged on a daily basis. Risk is even higher for women cus they are considered easy marks.

So, if a young girl happens to like you as a person or even is attracted to you to a degree and you offer her a ticket out of the world I just described into a place where things are stable, safe, and money comes a lot easier, that may seem like a very attractive package in her eyes.

Wow, that makes me wonder why more young Dominican girls aren't interested in me.

Well many are also attracted to good looking guys who are not too far from their age. From what I've seen, they are more age sensitive on average than Filipinas. If a girl is young and better than average looking by Domican standards at least, she may figure she can attract a good catch closer to her own age.

If you are 45 and you wanna date the 20 something set there but not enter full sugar daddy mode, it probably helps a lot if you at least look good and very youthful for your age, more like a 30 something.
