Tom Leykis?

Post by The_Hero_of_Men »

I was listening to Tom Leykis on TuneIn, a radio app on my iPod touch. He was roasting/blasting Donald Trump and his camp for "trying so hard to find dirt on the Obamas (Barack & Michelle), and the most they could find is something about divorce papers". When he said that not only would he vote for Obama, because of this incident, he had even more reason to vote for Obama/feel that he (Leykis) made the right choice (voting for/supporting Obama), I was (and still am) deciding on whether I would cease listening to Tom Leykis' show. I don't want to seem like an intolerant fool because I am not listening to him because he's an Obama supporter, and I don't agree with Obama about lots of things.

What do you guys think? Should I stop listening to him or not?

If I wanted to get laid by big-city club-skanks, I would listen to Leykis.

Do you listen for the entertainment value or to learn something? Maybe you've "outgrown" his show. This happens sometimes. You still have the option of listening to topical clips from time to time. Listen to anyone long enough, you'll hear something you disagree with.

As far as the Dems vs. Reps, many people vote for one party because they see people in the other party acting like a bunch of jerks, e.g. Trump is seen as "picking on" Obama. Follow the process long enough, you'll discover BOTH parties are full of jerks.

Trust me, I know that BOTH parties are full of jerks & idiots. That's why I'm voting independent!

I haven't been listening to Leykis for that long.

You gentlemen are certainly correct. However, you can't deny that Leykis has made some valid points. I think that he has , in the short time I have listened to him.

In my opinion he should have never gotten into politics on his show and stuck with conversations on dealing with women.
I agree, how can any man vote for democrats. The democratic party supports feminism, supports higher taxes and bigger government. It was democrats that passed all these sexual harassment laws that are now in the work place.

I can see how women would vote for democrats but I cannot see how any man would vote for the democratic party.

For navigating (or outright AVOIDING) the dating minefield that is the Anglosphere, yes, Leykis is on point. I wouldn't take that as expertise in everything else. Jordan was great at basketball, but we, politely, don't talk about his baseball aspirations.

On the political front there's townhall.com, if you're Republican. Libertarians get their fix over at LewRockwell.com. In either case, you probably wouldn't go to those sites for advice on dating.

Tom Leykis introduced me to the Manosphere but for him to support a mangina like Obama seems counterintuitive.

Now this is where I have to disconnect my car from the MRM/MRA/MGTOW train (not HSR). While the current Democratic Party has very little to do with the Party of LBJ and Carter, it is still leagues ahead of the GOP on Men's issues. GOP plays with your heart by saying women should return to the 1950's , but are happy to send you overseas to war. The problem was too many Democrats agreed with that, but that was because they didn't want to be seen as not supporting a counter-attack after 9/11.

But the Democratic Party has been trending RIGHT since losing to George Bush Sr. - http://www.informationclearinghouse.inf ... e12698.htm

That said, there is still a powerful Left wing inside Congress.

I would like you to document where they have become the Anti-male party and so what if women get free birth control, you can get free birth control, I went to Planned Parenthood last year and pick up three bags of condoms... FOR FREE. You can also get a free Viagra or Cialas 3 pill sampler from your doctor.

They have not said "Women should be breadwinners". They said women should EMBRACE IT because increasingly they are making more money than their husbands, who are in many cases unemployed. What type of jobs do you think those with high school educations now get, especially in middle America? Since GM has shipped many jobs to Mexico and now China, its not working at AC/Delco (Delphi) or any of its other suppliers. Since the GM bailout, the agreements made with the UAW is now new hires get paid $10 an hour...

The problem with women making more can be found in their dating profiles... They demand while they are professional and White collar, you need to be professional and White collar, or worst you need to be rich. On top of that you should be an ideal soul mate and be dashing.

With the narrow pool of attractive women to pull from, isn't this the reason to look elsewhere?

My GF's have been breadwinners. The only time they were not was this girl who was not working, living with her mothers and taking care of her daughter who was two at the time. I worked as a courier, I never heard anything about money. My GF was the breadwinner 1-1.5 years of the 2.5 years were where together and she wanted to marry me.

I support going overseas to look for women, I support changing unfair family law that impact men negatively and I support equal funding things such as Cancer Research.

I do not support misogyny even in a joking manner, its tasteless.

Counterintuitive? Au contraire. Fits in exactly with Fscmidt's theory about the Omega guy. Fame, money, artificial status... happily screwing the slut herd.

For example, years ago, Bolshevik Communism undermined families, but I guess top commissars got plenty of tail.

Leykis isn't an ass-kissing feminist wimp. But he's allied with the enemy - and profiting thereby.

I think with women we should go back to the 1950's. Have you ever had a woman judge you in the work place just because you're a man?

I have, and I find it wrong on so many levels when her experience and IQ is dismal compared to mine. I never said anything about misogyny.
No, not directly. I have been taken aside for saying something inappropriate or a long time ago, I pattied this big-titty white girl on the butt and was censured for that.

BIG DEAL and no there should not be a return to the 1950's but a accounting of woman's behavior. It should start with men disconnecting their wallets from their actions. As Marc said, p***y is voice-activated, not coin operated.

Trust me, management fears me not the other way around. There is nothing an employer could say, fired doesn't bother me I demand my final check walk out and make my next move. I fill sorry for all those people with poor family relationships because of mental abuse or abuse of drugs/alcohol.

There is something to be said for these throw away, low pressure service sector jobs. I demand my work environment be made better, not acceptable because I lack a college degree. Most people are forced into these positions, high school education, children (which is common with minorities) or layoffs. One of my former co-workers was employed at General Dynamics but then they cut back, eliminated his job. It would have been worse if his children were younger but they were already out of school. He worked at Pep Boys with me for about 40% of his former yearly income, marriage still intact.

As I said there some legitimate complaints about the current dating/relationship situation in America, but its not all women fault. They are conditioned by the media and politicians to do what they do. MRM has to engage politicians, which they aren't doing. They also need media, how come there so many shows directed at women talking about women's issues when men get glorified T&A shows with trucks and cars with loud exhaust throw in.

How come if Spike TV is a Men's channel as they tout it, have programing mainly of what I just said?

The MSM things you're STUPID and rightly so, what's important to you? News (60-65% Women viewers) or NFL Football (70-80% Male viewership) I think they and advertisers know the answer...

How come Victoria Secret Shows always do well with the male demographic?

From one end, I understand there's a problem, but on the other end we are shooting ourselves in the foot.

Adam Carolla pointed out years ago -

Being a douche will get you laid but won't find you a quality girl... Being YOURSELF will get you a quality girl and LAID. Much harder to accomplish in North America. But you can't overlook issues that the US has been delaying in its BS mode about American Exceptionalism. The US social system should look more like Western Europes not less like it. They realized too late they needed to address the problem of low birth rates by making it easier to have paid leave for both the male and female in the relationship to take care of the family. We need to do this before White folk start screaming they aren't having enough children. The White Nationalist are always screaming, but its falling on deaf ears. By the time it reaches the MSM, it will be too late. The MSM is still talking about delayed childbirth (First time parent in your late 30's and early 40's), IVR (expensive!), egg donors and sperm donors -

We need to stop telling women they can "Have It All" because most women will never have it all. Men need to stop promising women they can have it all, it's nearly impossible to fund and can be mentally draining (especially trying to conceive with a woman in her late 30's, early 40's who's never had children before)

There is almost nobody telling people to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN! The women that want to have children and under 25, should be looking at men 28-32, but they aren't. They are encourage to date men 21-25... Many of these men are still in school or working through their career and don't feel they can afford to get married. Women should stop demanding expensive weddings. Mark has often touted his marriage cost him $3,000 including the ring, the rest of you are DOING IT WRONG!

For those of you are steadfastly against any sort of Government interference in your relationships, by the way STOP TALKING LIKE LIBERTARIANS its getting on my nerves and covers up your true intentions IMHO.

You should stop bitching and complaining and do what it takes to either make your local dating life better or save money and go overseas.

@EuroBrat why are you complaining about the LA job market? Unemployment here is 12% while there are many countries in Western Europe where its 4%.

Think outside the box... Donate Plasma - http://www.donatingplasma.org/, apply for GA (Sun Valley DSS office) say your "Homeless" you'll get more money, I made that mistake.

That could be easily $450-$500 a month, about 6 hours a week out of your time. GA is good for nine months...
