The whole concept of "gay marriage" is ridiculous. The purpose of marriage is to raise children in a socially effective setting while providing the biological basis for a cohesive society. It has nothing to do with perverts' sexual convenience. The only reason stupid issues like this even arise is the ZOG propping up dysfunctionality. Hopefully when the economy collapses, idiotic and inefficient social arrangements such as solo-motherhood, dyke/faggot pair bonds and even nuclear families will collapse with it, with their adherents being killed or starving to death.

It is a 100% counterfeit problem, it actually affects a tiny number of people. Unless your living in a gay mecca it is something you will likely never see. For all practical intents and purposes it has zero effect on normal marriage.

As far a something that has actual effects on normal marriage, Alicia Menendez, a democratic strategist, says women are completely dependent on government subsidies. This has had an enormous destructive affect on marriage. This government intrusion into peoples personal lives has had a very large destructive effect. Its effects are so strong guys are leaving the country to find decent women. How many guys are leaving the country because of gay marriage?

I used to think gays wouldn't affect me until I saw this:

http://www.touchstonemag.com/archives/a ... 8-07-021-f

Even if it exists in the minority, the recognition of homosexuality redefines the language. It disrupts normal relations between members of the same sex just as much as Feminism does to relations between the sexes. As members of an anti-feminist board we ought to recognize this. As far as marriage goes, I think gays should be allowed to marry, but others should not be forced to recognize their marriage as valid. That is why I think the government should not be involved in granting marriage licenses at all, even for straight couples. Marriage should be a religious or cultural tradition. It was not even a problem until very recently though, because gay marriage was simply inconceivable.

Yes and no, as long we have immigration and a probate court system in place, then formal relations between folks do matter for the govt.

How is 'family reunification' suppose to happen, if marriages are not considered legally binding between opposite gender members? It would then be virtually impossible for anyone to sponsor anyone else for a Green Card, everyone would have to apply through either a school, work, or business visa program. How many couples & children have spent years/decades apart, only to be reunited with their father (or mother, or uncle, or aunt), after years of waiting for a Green Card or Citizenship papers?

Finally, when a person dies, does his legal spouse have any say on the probate system? Or does everything then go to a blood relative like surviving parents or siblings, since marriage isn't recognized by the probate court? And what about health care and medicine, are only blood relatives allowed to see a patient in ICU? You see, the world is too complex for simple cures like 'keep the govt off my back' type of solutions.

If gay marriage is fully legalized, then all other systems of law will need to follow suit and update their protocols, to include same-sex unions into their programs.

Well yeah, I know that. I'm just talking theory here. If, for example, the South were to secede and create a new legal system from scratch, that would be something to consider. I mean, gay marriage never used to be a consideration, so that's why these relations are so inextricably linked to the legal system. No one considered following libertarian options in order to be inclusive of ideas that at the time simply did not exist. I am sure there are ways to solve all the problems you listed by constructing a legal system from the beginning, but I'm not going to bother postulating them because it doesn't seem very relevant to the current situation.

I would say quite a lot, even if they don't recognize it as such. It isn't just male/female relationships that are damaged by Feminism. LGBT Rights is a Feminist offshoot that makes it harder for straight members of the same sex to form bonds. There is a general sterilization of Western society because of this and it extends to more than opposite sex relationships. What I am saying is that men in Western society may be lonely and find it harder to make friends than overseas where people are more open. Straight people in Western countries are afraid of being too close with members of their own sex, lest they be thought of as gay. So they may move overseas because they have a harder time making friends not just with women, but also other men. They may not recognize gay rights as the cause, but they certainly are feeling the effects.

They are supposedly worried that gay marriage disrupts, degrades, or destroys heterosexual marriage, but that is a load of steaming horseshit.

Divorce and adultery destroy marriage. Gay people can do whatever they want and it won't matter one iota to heteros. And yet somehow, the media, mainstream "conservatives," etc. can't figure it out.

All the better for TPTB to mislead and distract the sheeple, after all.
Awesome Ghost!
Let the gays marry and they'll soon decide they hate it after going through acrimonious divorces. I read about a Lezzy couple having the divorce from hell in England, but I can't find the link now. Marriage is horrible and if gays are too dumb to realsie it, they soon will get woken-up. Gays should be left alone to live their lives.

Terminator/A'nold, let me tell you this, men know themselves, better than any heterosexual or lesbian couple out there. If anything, gays are not required, by society, to be married. Thus, if a bunch of guys decide to marry, it's most likely, a pair which could work out, long term, over a hetero couple, esp in today's America.

The truth of the matter is that women, yes, the hetero, lesbian, or bi', club are the *true problem* over men. In reality, men don't have a problem. Gays can live in their own separate reality, without interfering in the events of mainstream society. Gays are at max, 10% of any population group. Women, on the other hand, can range from 10 to 40% bi-sexual/lesbian. That's a problem, these bitches are stupid, inconsistent, and have no way of being settled w/o destroying the world around them.

Gay marriage is but a symbolic right that would signify general and political acceptance of the gay lifestyle. Gays rarely have any interest in marriage in and of itself. In fact, it is in their interest NOT to be married.

So the disingenuous nature of the gay marriage movement is what I decry.

I agree with this. I personally don't care what people do in their personal sex lives, but this whole gay marriage thing is a media-concocted political movement. I also feel like there's a major slippery slope to gay marriage. Gays can get married, fine. What will be the next let's-piss-off-the-religious-traditionalists political "tolerance" movement?? Surely something will happen, the only question is where? Liberals will probably never promote polygamy since that flies in the face of women's rights. Pedophilia? Probably too many legal loops at this time. Bestiality? Not enough popular demand. Maybe feminists will start pushing for polyandry, and tag it onto a forced-acceptance of infidelity campaign under the guise of "open relationships", "individuality" or "universal love" or something.

My position on this has always been- If I suddenly felt a strange urge to have sexual contact with a person of the same sex, I would be very alarmed and probably go and get some hormone shots because this is abnormal- people of the same sex are for friendship, not for sex because they do not have organs for that. After that I would try and get back on the normal track of life.

Why people try and stick with abnormality instead of finding a cure against it is beyond me. And when they go off the deep end and turn it into a normality and create marriage based on that, that is an aberration of the highest order.

If I had power I would detain all gays, put them into ( previously organized for this purpose) " hormone camps" and subject them to forced treatment- keep injecting them with male hormones till they become normal. It is a hormonal anomaly and it needs to be treated.

The reason gays do have so much power is because of the money- they do not need to save to send kids to college or to raise kids period. So they keep lobbying and lobbying politicians and who-not to be recognized as a legit "minority" whereas they are basically ill.

And love for a person of the same sex is what close friendship is for. I had bosom buddies whom I loved dearly and I missed them and we were as close as brothers but it does not mean I wanted to have their procreative organs in the end part of my digestive tract.

Yes! No better is this expressed than here: http://www.touchstonemag.com/archives/a ... 8-07-021-f

"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." - Krishnamurti

Actually the polyandry thing is already happening. Societal decay.

Wow, this is the first time I heard this! I honestly don't care about gays as I want to concentrate on my own issues. I do agree that having butt-sex with your friends is messed-up! But I'm noticing porn is becoming more gay orientated - now 3-somes are usually 2 guys and a girl. In the 1990s it was almost always 2 girls and a guy...

I think people in the USA think way too much about this stuff, it's the sort of stuff I'm sure the government loves, as it keeps the citizens distracted from the crimes against humanity they are perpetrating. ;)

People are nuts about gays in the US. It's just a small group of people, who cares what they do? Yet everyone is all over the top woo hoo we love gays! If you even say anything about gays people go crazy. Personally I don't care what anyone does, but I think they should SHUT UP. We don't care who you have sex with, so zip it and move on with your life.

Why this over the top protection of some small group and not other groups? It's okay to celebrate gayness but it's not okay to celebrate masculinity. Think about that!
