Why is Hugh Hefner married?

Ppl, this particular individual has 100s of millions of dollars. And, he'd been married twice before. Why does he need to do this again?

I mean even a pre-nup has to have at least a $10M payoff, if the lady walks out on him w/o children. No one signs a pre-nup to a multimillionaire w/o a golden parachute. Is this some fantasy of love, to pass the time from now 'til the funeral?

I think it's a bit of both, sure, he's aware that his meeting with the Grim Reaper is around the corner, however, he's also indulging a fantasy of being in love till the end. I guess my question is why an 80-something needs that fantasy, unless he sees death as going back to *the universal womb* and thus, having a woman there will ease the transition, kinda like a mother figure in place of Anubis or Charon in mythology.

Hugh Hefner is 86 and the woman he married is 26.

Talk about a May to December relationship, my God, he is 60 years older than her!

Of course, she just married him because she loves him, not because he is a multi-millionaire and will probably die soon (and she will get a crap load of money when he takes a dirt nap).

Would this same woman have married him if he was not rich and famous? This woman is the ultimate gold digger!

The funny part would be he keels over and she finds out that ownership of everything was transferred to his kids years ago.
As far as "why", it's mostly biological wiring. It can't be unlearned and at his age it probably can't even be repressed.

Does anyone know if he signed a prenup? I'm sure he must have access to the best lawyers in the world and had them protect him somehow?

I remember on TV that his new wife said that they signed a prenup. Is that true?

I wonder why he isn't afraid that she might try to kill him, especially if she gets impatient and can't stand to wait any longer.

I think it's rather clear to the entire world that she's a gold digger, however, why is it that he's not aware of this fact?

I mean he can keep her around, as a *kept woman*, and that would be a fine arrangement. She straddles his salami (or what's left of it  ) and gets a monthly stipend like $20K-$30K for accessories, shopping, etc. There are plenty of rich guys who keep loose women around but only fools marry 'em. Instead, he's engaged in a charade where she pretends to be a *soulmate* but upon passing, gets a PayDay of $10M (or more) & then, fights the heirs in court, to get more of that $100M, as a widow.

Is this guy nuts?

Well, in America, the DA's office prosecutes those who kill rich white men in rich white majority suburbs, like the Hamptons or Bel Air. If there's any shot at foul play conviction, it'll be investigated. It's one of the few things which still works in America.

Can't say the same for lower income regions in the country

I would say he's trying to live a 'normal' life via his extravagant one. He knows these women inside out. No woman wants to share their man or be in such a relationship. He's got money to buy more money 8)

I'm a bit lost here ... he's using money to buy himself a perception of having an ordinary life?

Isn't that called ... being delusional?

According to some of his former bimbo girlfriends, old Hef needs to pop Viagra and watch gay porn to get it up. Henry Makow's site had an article about it not too long ago.

Playboy is pretty much run by Hefner's feminist daughter. The magazine still pushes all the politically correct garbage including feminism in spite of the wreckage a half century of feminism has caused outside of the insulated view from Hefner's fairyland world at his gated mansion. What's ironic is that Hefner's taste in women looks like something out of a 1930s German wet dream, one blonde Aryan after another, very few Black women and hardly any Asian women appear in Playboy.
