As soon as I read the first couple of sentences in Maker55's post I went oh. He just discovered "THE SECRET", which I have a dvd copy of somewhere, but I believe if we actually feel it as oppose to thinking it, it has more of a natural affect, soooo. You don't have to talk about it, but you still carry it with you, its still in your mind, every time you cross those same patterns in peoples behavior you are sub-contentiously reminded of those feelings and those thoughts re-occur. I think its good to practice, but one has to work on feeling it with in, not playing mind games with themselves and sikeing themselves out all the time, pretty soon you'll become sick of yourself

Ppl, the so-called "The Secret", is a reincarnation of Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking" or perhaps his peer, Earl Nightingale's, "The Strangest Secret".

It's all been said and done, however, perhaps the biggest thing here is the ---Art of Proactive Thinking---, where one is scrounging for better opportunities, with a positive frame of mind, vs sitting around and complaining about being handed a lump of coal. And that's pretty much what I got out of those aforementioned authors.

I think the Law of Attraction works to an extent. Mostly with meeting people who are interesting. Some examples is a guy I know now who was part of the team who designed and help produced the F-14 Tomcat, one who ran for Congress, but lost(now he just travels around the world teaching about economics and business, goes to mostly Asia) One who knew the maker and owns part of Nike when they started to do shares. So much more guys, but women, no. It doesn't matter how much you reinvent or become out going. It doesn't matter to them. I have yet to meet a women(around my age) having friends like them.

I have burned bridges with guys who were around my age, cause I found that they were just keeping me down on purpose. They hated knowing that I was coming out on top on the "Social Ladder" with these old guys. Cause I viewed life and went by my own set of rules. In the end though, you can only keep up your positive attitude for so long when AW and douchebags are f***ing up your groove and sabotaging you. That's when you state you are leaving the country and your new friends ask why, you just say the truth and they understand. But the AW and douches try to shame you.
