China Discriminates Against Women in University Admissions
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/08/world ... =asia&_r=0
Of course this is a good thing. When women with High IQs are encouraged to go to college and compete against men in business their fertility rate drops. This means women with lower IQs have more children and the whole world gets dumber. Just like women entering combat doesn't make a stronger army, women receiving education and competing against men does not a stronger society make.

There's a difference between trolling, and responding to someone's extraordinarily asinine statement.
The right for women in China to be given equal educational opportunities as men has nothing to do with "feminist influence". It's a right for all human beings, male or female. Women should have the same chance to pursue a career and become educated as men do.
It's sickening that people think otherwise. Maybe, in that case, Malala in Pakistan should have been killed by the Taliban so that women know their place and stay as subservient houekeepers.
I don't like what American feminism has become either, but that subject has nothing--NOTHING--to do with the rights for women to be educated.

Cyrus doesn't even have an argument. Do you think this idea of falling IQs is somehow false? That it is somehow not a bad thing? Because as it stands your whole argument is that women deserve an education...because I said so.
Clearly you have no knowledge of Feminist history.
This guy's just been brainwashed.

What you're saying is completely outside the realm of social norms and 'sane' behavior and you don't even realize it.
In real life, it's not cool to say women do not deserve an education. I don't know how old you are, judging by your picture you look about 15. I'd like to see you bring this topic up to your high school class and see how many friends you make.
You say I have no evidence? What you're saying has the flimsiest thesis I've ever read. So female IQ's are lower (an extremely dubious pronouncement with no evidence to cite) and women with degrees become 'feminized' and therefore won't have sex with you and are thus going to be removed from the gene pool. What?
This is speculative rambling, at best. Women are completely 100% as capable as men in the workforce and in their careers, and even 'useless' Bachelor' of Arts degrees pave the way for women who go to grad-school for MBAs, doctoral degrees, etc. Also, many jobs do not even hire people unless they have a B.A. in something. To say women should be weeded out of the educational system is like reverting life to before the Victorian / Enlightenment era and going back to the Middle Ages. You're saying women should be relegated to womanly duties and avoid overly ambitious career pursuits. Hahahaha.
Also, most women I know with grad-school degrees and a lot of education behind them, and good jobs, have boyfriends / husbands and many have kids. Hell, I don't even know any single accomplished women --- they're all married. How are women being weeded out of the gene pool by going to college?
The only reason career minded women don't pay attention to you... is because you're a misogynist I don't think they otherwise have any problems mating / producing kids. They just won't do it with you, so you take your rage to Happier Abroad with sweeping generalizations about the other half of the human race.
If this type of crazy-talk really is the norm around this forum these days, then I'll stop posting here. But it would be cool if Winston (since it's his forum) could weigh in on the topic of women not deserving an education - as maybe it's just you couple of nutbags cooking this up and it doesn't reflect the forum as a whole - I have no idea.

Also, unless I am mistaken, my impression about this forum has - for many years - been that Western relationships with people / the opposite sex suck, and it's easier to find caring, nice women in other countries, and many people lead happier more fulfilled lives when getting away from the USA rat race.
I don't think it has anything to do with extremist ideas like women shouldn't go to college. Give me a break.

No, I realize it's outside social norms. Sane behavior is relative.
I'm 21. The whole point of this forum is leaving America. Why the hell would I care about what's the popular opinion here?
I never said you have no evidence. You didn't present any. You are clearly incapable of reading because I never said female IQs are lower. The fact that women focusing on education and getting careers - typically women with high IQs - have a lower fertility rate is common knowledge. This means women with lower IQs are having more children. It makes each generation have a lower average IQ than the last. This is called dysgenics.
I'm glad career minded women are ignoring me. That's the point. Being called a misogynist means I'm doing it right.
You're just a Feminist stooge.

@ABCDavid01,
Ever since you have been looking more hip in your avatar after a couple of HA members cracked jokes on you, you have been growing a pair. *Hi-five*
I support your pro-male disposition based on this thread.
@Ghost,
You have been making a quite a few wonderful posts lately. You really are learning to go your own way. I salute you. Superfluous is an excellent word, but you should utilize it in
conjunction with charlatan when talking about degrees western women obtain just to opt out their genes in spite of competing with men superfluously.

I'll ask my girlfriend from traditional rural Thailand (as "non feminist" as you can get) sitting next to me what she thinks:
"Well I think what they are saying (on Happier Abroad) is wrong because women should have full access to a university. The reason is because if a man becomes sick or injured the woman must take care of her family, and with a college degree she can get a good job. I see many times in Isaan (rural Thailand) a man goes away, dies or becomes sick and the woman has no money and is forced to sell her body to raise children. But the women with college degrees come to Bangkok and get good jobs. It is very sad if China is making it more difficult for women to go to school".
I think I rest my case. Speaking of things lowering IQs, I think this thread is doing it to me.

Okay, so you've gone from being a Feminist defender to a Bourgeois defender. Great.
Thanks.E_Irizarry wrote:@ABCDavid01,
