Princess syndrome (NE Asian women)
Princess syndrome (NE Asian women)
Here's what Winston has been talking about all along. One of the Chinese ladies we were talking with over the phone mentioned that Taiwanese guys often complain that their own women in Taiwan have "princess syndrome." So I looked it up.
Top candidates are: Asian Tiger countries (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea), also Japan and coastal urban China (Shanghai, Guangzhou nouveau riche)

Heck, even Jay Chou, Taiwan's most famous male pop star, made a song about this.
This then happens, per Momopi's recommendation:
And the crowd has been getting younger and younger too.
Younger men in Singapore seek foreign brides

I always felt that in higher income small countries (nation-states) like Taiwan, Singapore, and HK it makes perfect sense to have a foreign bride. The pool of women and people in those countries is only so big anyways. In Singapore it's a ridiculous proposition to even date a local Singaporean woman when you are a high income male living in SEA.
It's trivial for Singaporeans to travel to Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, etc.. on a weekend. They can spend years carefully perusing the local SEA wares to find a suitable bride. This is a luxury of convenience that men from the U.S. simply don't have in most cases.

You know, I've been wondering what kind of reception I would get if I brought my Isaan girl over to Taiwan. Or how Taiwanese would react to Winston with Dianne.
So far, most mail-order brides in Taiwan are from Vietnam or are ethnic Chinese, so a Taiwanese guy with a chocolate-dark lady is still not that common (maybe except for some of the guys with Filipina or Cambodian brides who aren't ethnic Chinese).
When I'm with her, Chinese tourists may often give me an "hmm, that's interesting" kind of look, rather than the "WTF" look that central Thais give us. My excuse is that I'm from Taiwan, and that Taiwanese are now very used to dating SE Asian women.

Your first link contains the solution:Falcon wrote:Here's what Winston has been talking about all along. One of the Chinese ladies we were talking with over the phone mentioned that Taiwanese guys often complain that their own women in Taiwan have "princess syndrome." So I looked it up.

For every sickness, there must be a cure or at least an aid to being more comfortable. Here’s what one site had to say:
When a female asks you a question with the sole purpose of temporarily curing her insecurity, answer truthfully. For example, if a female asks you if she has cellulite, and she in fact does, answer yes. You may think you’re being mean, but lying to her to make her feel better will only catch up to you over time as her ego grows.
When a female constantly begs to be the center of attention, just ignore her. Allowing her to be the center of attention will eventually catch up to you.
Never let her lure you into arguments with her, as this shows her that she has control of your emotions and that you have a weak heart. You don’t need to let her know who’s right or wrong; she knows the correct answer herself, and she’s just stirring up an argument to make you say and feel otherwise.
Use them for sex or ignore them. You may think you’re being mean by using them for sex, but they’re using you to make themselves feel wanted and to cure their insecurities. Females with princess syndrome are whores, they love to be degraded, that’s why these type of girls never go for the nice guys, they want some asshole douchebag. Nice guys are the ones that pamper them, so at the end of they day, all they want to do is get f***ed and call you their daddy.
And when all else fails, take a lesson from Sean Connery:
Good luck to all the Prince Charmings out there. I’m off to slap my girlfriend.
They may be testing you all the time, and God yes that's annoying, but much better than an AW male-impersonator barking at you.
If you guys would just learn to use a leather strap, bamboo, or even a paint stick (obviously on the bottom, meatier part of the glutes) you could handle a vixen like this. Not a fun spanking - one that inflicts serious pain, a traumatic memory, something that will cause reformed behavior and give you peace and quiet for a while.
She won't break. In fact, she'll try again to control you, sooner than you think.
Just make sure you have the upper hand, exercise it right from the beginning, and keep using it regularly. Be firm and consistent, never show weakness.
I'm not saying all girls need this kind of thing, but it would be the thing to do with girls like you are describing.

lol Exactely.or having to worry she isnt cheating so you limit her?what kind of life is that?momopi wrote:Why would you want to be in an unhealthy relationship where you have to use threats of violence to keep your partner in line?
I really think monogamy is unnatural to humans.and even if marriage were doable,to me its starting to look not worth it.

Right now I'm not looking for a drama queen. I want someone nice and naturaly submissive.momopi wrote:Why would you want to be in an unhealthy relationship where you have to use threats of violence to keep your partner in line?
But if a guy DOES like the willful, lively, difficult type - as I used to - then he needs to understand what he's getting, and deal accordingly.
Keeping a tiger is different than keeping a rabbit.

It's up to you if you want to stay with someone who's relatively drama-free, or if you enjoy the danger and excitement of fast women that require constant attention, or else she'd sleep with your guy friends, neighbors, and the mail man for kicks. Like they say, fast cars, and even faster women.
A problem exists where the guy has a few screws loose in his head and wants a "fast women" and expects her to behave like a sheep. I don't expect my dog to meow or my cat to bark, and if you're the one who imposed such unrealistic expectations to begin with, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Yes people can change, often after major life events, such as a girl who used to do drugs may have the metal determination to quit because she got pregnant and want to have a healthy baby and be a good mother. But you should know when you're taking bets and that you don't always win in a game of chance.

When South Korea's economy took off in the 90's the birth rate dropped 70% in 10 yrs and Korean men started to look for wives in other Asian countries.

While I didn't really agree with this sentiment before, I'm starting to now.theprimebait wrote:lol Exactely.or having to worry she isnt cheating so you limit her?what kind of life is that?momopi wrote:Why would you want to be in an unhealthy relationship where you have to use threats of violence to keep your partner in line?

However, if a person wants kids, monogamy is the best way to go. Kids in single parent households or in households where the parents have dysfunctional relationships seem to end up pretty f***ed up. I think that's partially the reason for the issues with my generation.
I don't know about you, but if I have kids, I want them to functioning (and hopefully well above average) members of society.
Haha I read that article too.Taco wrote:When South Korea's economy took off in the 90's the birth rate dropped 70% in 10 yrs and Korean men started to look for wives in other Asian countries.
