Why don't you explain what they are first, and provide links to info?

So how do you start your own nation? Why don't we start one of our own? Maybe we can pool together with Roosh and his gang and all of the HA type bloggers out there? lol

Btw, please remember to capitalize the first letter of your thread title. It's tedious having to fix that all the time.

Actually I am fully serious about this. I want to start a Panarchist Republic (placeholder name for the time being). There will be no taxes, just registration fees. All are welcome to work and play in this area I will determine. But basically, there would be four men: a symbolic head of state that will be defacto president and leader of the capital, the Controller of Subconsuls (the subconsul is basically government, but not based on land, but common interest. The Controller would keep peace between these and basically manage the interstate affairs of them. ), commerce ambassador, and foreign affairs chief. The rest of regulation would be through the subconsuls. So let's say you like capitalism. You subscribe to capitalist subconsul's services. If you don't like it, you can switch. So basically competing governments. But if one of them steps out of line, they are blacklisted, and no longer part of the union.

As for micronations, they are basically pet project nations, mostly nothing serious, but some are, as is my case. I want to turn this into the freest piece of earth on earth.

I remember a story some years ago, I think from the 1970's. Some rich American guy purchased an island in the South Pacific. He spent a substantial amount of money in the acquisition of the small island, establishing a legal framework and constitution, and building the primary structures such as water treatment, electricity, and roads, etc. When the day came for him to officially launch the micro-nation and officially begin immigration and business operations, the local Polynesian King arrived with a contingent of his soldiers. The King waddled onto the shore and promptly declared the island to be the sovereign property of Polynesia. So in the end, the King had the American man's money, and a new island for his people to populate.

The American guy walked away with the shirt on his back and an empty bank account.
How to deal with newbies that talk much but do little.

Pics or it didn't happen.

YES/NO

Cool story, bro.

Problem solved.

Excellent idea!!

I like Ghost's ideas, especially:

- Call it "WUtopia" and establish the capital as "Winston".

- There are some 7000 islands in the Philippines.....there must be a suitable place there?

- Industry: Lot's of talent here, especially Winston's. I can envision him as building an powerhouse empire the way Bill Gates did.

- Import Filipinas: Filipinas for all citizens of Happier Abroaders!

Here's an opportunity to establish the (micro)nation based on pure LIBERTARIAN principles and put it into practice!
