British Born Chinese wanting to go travelling

Post by Renatus »

What is the best place for me to go as an ethnic Chinese? Obviously, not the USA/Canada/Australia.

I have an attractive face objectively speaking, I have been working out in the gym since 16 so have a strong physique with a good height (5ft10) at 23. I am a Russell Group (UK Ivy League) graduate in Law. I am not a badboy thug type that American women like, but then again I don't like American women, even in porn. They seem very masculine compared to women of other cultures. I do well with women in the UK, I don't find the discrimination here as bad as reported in the USA, there is nowhere near the level of overall racial hatred as there is in the USA.

For a start, I want to go to European countries. But also to South America and Asia (countries such as Singapore, I want to go to developed cities).
I also like Arab women, but I am obviously aware that their culture forbids pre-marital sex.

I just want to prove to myself, tbh, that I can successfully date women in other countries other than at home here in the UK.

I heard Asian men do well in Latin American countries. Also, Eastern Europe is an unexplored 'goldmine'...I think, for Asian men.

As for Asia, maybe a place like Malaysia would be to your liking? Unless your super-rich, Singaporean women should be avoided, for the most part--as they are very materialistic and demanding of their men.

It depends on your nationality and language ability and otherwise educational background.

If you have a working level of spoken AND written Chinese/Japanese, and EU/UK citizenship, you might well try Taiwan, Japan, the major cities along the mainland Chinese coastline.

Unfortunately many overseas Chinese (also in Asia like in Thailand and Malaysia) still speak a little Chinese (their own dialect like Hakka etc.) but lost their ability to speak and write in standard Chinese as they were visiting only English schools.

What about you?

While Malaysia is very open-minded for visa and labor permits, there are hardly any good vacancies.

I have been in Malaysia several years, also speak Malay and have Chinese friends in Eastern Malaysia, young people in Malaysia are looking for jobs everywhere, often over months to find some employment, and salaries are rather low.

You know, I have actually heard that the vast majority of Europe is fine apart from Southern Europe (i.e. Italy and Spain).
Women in Europe in general are able to judge us on individual attractiveness.

As for Latin America, I have known quite a few South American girls in University and they were very nice to me. Flirtatious, and generally liked me. I can confirm that what you say is true in my experience anyway. One of the guys even went up to me and said "The girls really like you, they say you're a handsome guy you know". I liked his directness. Just a shame he was quite brutally racist against black and brown people when we went out.

As for Malaysia, I would like to go, but I have no idea about what their country is like to be in. Singapore I know more about because I have been before on a family holiday a few years ago.

My experiences with American women: very limited. Have never really talked to many. But, those that I have met have that invisible wall, that arrogant facade of a Hollywood celebrity. It is hard to describe , it is like they are on television but not on television if you know what I mean.

I know Cantonese and Hakka fluently. But, I do not know how to write unfortunately because I did not attend Chinese School.

Preferably somewhere around Guangdong in China or countries like Malaysia and Singapore. Cantonese and Hakka won't do you much good in most other parts of China. You need to learn Mandarin (or depending on the region, other dialects) in other parts of China.

Been looking at club photos in Asia. I prefer Shanghai by some distance, I would learn Mandarin to talk to those girls. Personally I find them a lot more attractive and my parents are northern Chinese by origin so there is the cultural understanding. They have a similarly western height to me and they have the aesthetic look I like. I also find them more equal in terms of the attractiveness scale. I like my girls to be at least 5ft6 and those girls in the north of China don't look short at all, I like that.

For my European choice, I have not decided yet. I like native French women, and I want to meet Eastern European women also.

I just feel like I need to get this sex trip out of my system tbh, it sounds funny and all, but I have always wanted to prove myself, to myself, this way. That I can make it in different parts of the world with women.

You're in luck. Many natives from there can pass as Koreans, but are also often stereotyped to look like Japanese (as are locals from the other cities in the greater Shanghai region), the same is true vice versa, Korean and Japanese expats and students are also often confused for being native locals in Shanghai. There's a huge difference between native Shanghai people and people who are from somewhere else but work/live in Shanghai. You might get some bonus points if you know the local dialect and speak it fluently.

Cuba has an active Chinese community that you might like to investigate.

I don't really care where they are from. I do prefer the Chinese (loyalties due to my parents being northerners originally), but as long as they look good I don't really care.
