Starchild5, I think Indians get it hard too, but depending on which format you are. There are only two formats. The first format has majority causcasian facial features, and lighter brownish skin. The other format is more aboriginal looking appearance with wide round nose, heavy mustache and very dark skin. As far as I am aware, the first type usually have better jobs in western countries, are richer, and have less trouble dating white women if he chooses to.

Even among the ranks of Indians, life isn't fair. I wish you luck.

Many Asian parents migrated for purely economic reasons is setting up their sons for failure if no early countermeasures are put in place. Those Asian guys born in western countries get the worst experience of all. They have the same dating expectations as every other guy with whom they grow up with, but often find that reality treats them harshly.

The only thing I do not agree is about teaching the kid to escape by means of trying with foreign Asian women. If you are 17 year old and your dad has been coaching you about getting a girlfriend from China, what would you think? The guy would be like 'why can't I get a local girlfirend like my neighbour Sam did. It just cannot cut it. I don't believe in settling for less. A fling yes, but not anything long term. It wouldn't surprise me that many white guys would date Asian women for fun, but when it comes to bringing the girl home to see the parents and marries her, they will go back to white girls.
You're kidding mate? :) So, in a ethnic minority family, it's mom's & pop's responsibility to ensure that their teenage or adult sons are perfectly equipped to date a hot Caucasian girl? Perhaps those families know there's more important stuff to teach their kids: to be confident, to study and work hard, perhaps to be themselves and find a match who's not just a good looking shell but shares the same culture and value. And if said match is a hot Caucasian, good for them. More often than not, it's a young woman from the same community, or a "neighbouring" one (like it happened with the Italian and Irish enclaves in the early days US), or even back to their root culture.

Perhaps some Asians could be clueless and hopelessly encrusted in the same frustrated desires, just like their white Caucasian counterparts. Either it's a blonde thin large breasted innocent looking babe or it's couch sitting watching porn with tool in left hand. My way or no way kind of thing.

Luckily, I like to think, the vast majority of Asians know what they're looking for, and however fumbling, they get what (and who) they need to be happy in the end.

I think the problem is that certain kids will think that their parents are paranoid, if they level with 'em, about the BS of modern western society. Ppl want to belong, esp in HS, and if the regular kids are dating but they're not (because none of the gals in HS want them), that'll result in trouble esp during those formative years, ages 13 to 17.

My solution is the get the kids out of the school system prior to high school. Then set them up with a RealDoll, to get through puberty, and on their 18th birthday, take 'em to a 5 star brothel in Brazil, Australia, or Thailand. This will end any Elliot Rodgers development arcs.
Many years ago, the Best Picture of 1999, "American Beauty", telegraphed the message of Happier Abroad to the world.

Beware of long term engagements with AWs, you may find yourself in a coffin.

BTW, despite settling down with an AW, myself, the warning is still in effect.

You could just teach your sons to be natural around women, to be physically fit, play sports and develop good social skills. They'll have as good a chance to get girls as any other guy, asian or otherwise. Elliot Rodgers was not a normal guy, he did not go through a normal or even remotely common development because he was diagnosed at a young age with autism. Therefore, he was socially stunted. Had he not had autism, I could have easily seen a guy like him getting laid; he was rich, he was not that bad looking and at 5'9" he wasn't ridiculously short either like some have claimed... if he had managed to overcome his crippling social anxiety somehow, he would have been fine.

Only a very small portion of young boys are "potential Elliot Rodgers". The vast majority will be just fine, either at a young age or as (relative) late bloomers once they hit college age and change their atmosphere, allowing them to reinvent themselves.

Of course Elliot Rodgers is the more extreme situation, however, those Asian-American suicides from my jrHS/HS period hit home pretty well. So while one may not go on a rampage, a lot of those feelings can be internalized.

If they were living in Asia or South America, I'd tend to agree with you. Today's America is not that of my youth, where I think we had the last vestiges of the non-(Smart Phone/Facebook spamming) generation... basically, normal ppl. So even for a regular white fellow, things have discombobulated since my earlier years. I can only imagine how much worse it would be for Asian-American fellows today.
