I don't claim to be in touch with modern dating. I've been married since the previous century. Based on your posts, I'd venture to guess I know a lot more about dating successfully and finding a suitable wife since I've been through it. Have you? I don't see dating as an end in itself.

I do find some of the statements people make on here irrational. How can anyone say that all American women are bad, or sluts, or some of the other kinds of things people make on this forum? There are shy virgins with good values who haven't dated much somewhere out there. Out of 300 million people, there have to be.

About the OP. American single men being 'sex-starved' is the norm. The sexual revolution of the 1960's started an anomaly. It's normal for single men not to have lots of sex. In the Old West, the ones who weren't probably had a high chance of having syphilis, since sharing prostitutes with all the other diseased single men was their option for not marrying and not being 'sex starved'.

If a man is married and sex starved, that's a bad thing, and there is a lot of that going on. IMO, a man should make it clear to his potential wife that he isn't going to stand for that before he marries her, and if she's not the type to stand for a man who can lay down the law about such things, he should let her go. Of course, if she's crazy about him, it need not be so confrontational. Some things are easy to get established early on when she's crazy about him and would do anything for him.

There are several reasons that men are sex starved in America. I am an American and was married for over 25 years. I was never sex deprived because I was always attracted to my (slender) wife. Which brings me to what is the biggest reason men are sex starved. They are simply not attracted to their overweight, out of shape wives. They may claim to be sex starved and she may claim that he is no longer romantic but the reason behind it is in many cases, if not most, the man is no longer attracted to his spouse. Now of course he still wants and needs sex but he is not willing, and maybe just cant, act romantic to a woman he thinks is disgusting when naked. He wants to get his rocks off but he aint playing the long drawn out foreplay because by the time he gets to the main event he has gone soft. Do I exaggerate? I think not. Why has the cialis market skyrocketed? I think the same reason. I have been with women that I was not attracted to and it was harder to keep an erection. I NEVER had a problem with my wife, whom I was attracted to and with any girl that was sexy in my opinion.

The other reason men are not attracted to their wives is because we all know that most men get bored with the same woman and desire some variety. Some may disagree with this but many, if not most, if they are honest will not. I really dont think there is any argument here. I have come to learn that men, and I mean all men, desire, and even need, some variety when it comes to the women in their lives. Most men know this on a deep level but because they are programmed to believe that they “should” be married and they must be monogamous they live in a sort of quiet desperation, longing for something they can never have. Most men, given the opportunity, if there were no negative consequences, would certainly love to have a sexual experience outside their committed relationship at least once in a while. This is just a fact. Of course there are exceptions, And MrMan may be one of them.

I have never had ANY problem getting laid in the US although many of the women were average at best and this is the same problem. Most women over, say 30, are overweight at least somewhat if not freakin huge. When I walk through any mall or the local WalMart I rarely see even one woman that is an 8 or better. Even the young 20ish year olds are overweight. So in order to find a date, gf or just some sex you must make sacrifices. I like a very thin woman and if I want to date one I MUST make sacrifices. She might be thin but be ugly in the face, or have tats or have 3 kids at age 23 or live with her parents at age 40 or be unemployed or numerous other undesirable things about her. But I may overlook a combination of all of these in order to get some sex with a woman that I am attracted to. Or she may have the cutest face and is thick all over. I dated a 21 year old girl here who was just that. A little thick, to put it nicely, but a lovely face. It did not last long because when naked the attraction was minimal.

Now when you have only a few attractive available women , and I say less than 10%, you will have a large demand for those few and as we start to lower our standards to 7's or even 5's, as many of us have done, then these lower scale women get more than their fair share of attention creating another problem. These, average at best, women begin to think they are hotties. I mean you would not believe the attitudes of these ugly, fat women !!

So now lets say that you are an average guy with an average job and maybe don't really have an outgoing personality. He will have a hard time and may be sex starved. My personality makes up for my average looks. Oh yea, I have money, or at least the appearance of having money.

I live in the south. The women are awful. At least in Asia you have a good percentage of slim women. This is why I go there.

Studies show that American married couples have sex the least amount of times per year than any other married couples in the world! Even married guys are hardly getting any a**! WTF?

It's not just American men that are starved for sex. I spoke to an Arab guy who immigrated to USA and now lives here. He told me he grew up in Yeman. He said because of Islam the sex divide is huge and many Arab guys don't have sex. Paying for sex is way under ground..plus in the middle east there is gender imbalance of more men than women. But the average arab guy is more worried about making a living than getting laid ..his words.

I think in USA we are surround by sexual image so it gives us temptation but in reality the average American women looks like hog. But I don't think it's just American men who are sex starve.

The magic of TV has convinced men that women are more valuable than they are, when the opposite is true in reality. Watch a movie like American Pie. It trains young men to overvalue women, which only increases the difficulty for young men. It is a massive psy op. On other forums there are older posters who comment on how good things were for men back in the 1970s. There are men on other forums who used to claim that women were actually okay until around 1983 or so. Watch TV programs from back around 1970, even Battlestar Galactica, and you'll see how much more innocent women were portrayed back then verses today. It really is programming.

American men are sex starved because they overvalue American women and have completely spoiled them. They didn't even realize they were doing this. They were just fulfilling the script which they were given. Too bad it is a bad script. This is also why American men ruin women wherever they go.
