Re: Help Ghost Reimagine a Classic Story
Maybe Ben Franklin for the guide -- the Founding Father most exemplary of common sense and gratifying male-female relationships.
For Satan -- Hillary Clinton, surrounded by a coterie of Jewish advisers, doctors and arms merchants who keep her propped up and appearing human-like. But periodically the demon inside her shows its face.
A pass out of hell, please, for those of us in circle 2, because this is flagrant age discrimination. Some of us actually are old enough to remember a very different and vastly better country. No one born in the past 55-60 years qualifies. You wouldn't blame us for living in the past if you knew what the past was really like.

Re: Help Ghost Reimagine a Classic Story
For your Virgil character, how about Oliver Cromwell.
Re: Help Ghost Reimagine a Classic Story
Andrew Jackson could be a good one because he was a good president, but married a whore.
Re: Help Ghost Reimagine a Classic Story
There should be a circle where fat middle aged women are trapped in tiny apartments full of cat shit. This is their punishment for being bitches to men in their younger days.

Re: Help Ghost Reimagine a Classic Story
Jackson is in Franklin's lineage on the banking issue. Franklin argued for a U.S. currency separate from the British banking regime, and said that this issue was the main cause of the Revolutionary War. I have busts of both, mainly as a tribute to their stance on this issue.Ghost wrote:I've just had an idea for a Virgil character: Andrew Jackson. He "killed the bank," but he died and the bank came back to choke America. And I could add a circle of hell that is about the banksters ravaging the U.S. with fiat currency. Any thoughts anyone?
(Paging Moretorque...)
Definitely a separate circle for the banksters, but the libertarians obscure the principal evil by talking about "fiat currency" (which could work if created by government rather than private bankers). The real scam is creating a debt economy that catches everybody up in the banksters' web.
