I don't really give a shit about Roosh or Winston on a personal level. I don't know either and probably won't ever meet them.

Compare the two sites and the people who post on them. Roosh is clean of spam and it is a congenial atmosphere. The overall theme there is self-improvement, mostly the members are somewhat skilled at life and want to get better.

OTOH HA is full of spam threads and bickering between misfit members. The overall theme here is complaining, mostly the members want rationalizations for their shortcomings.

So if you want to improve your lot in life, go to Roosh. If you want to complain about how bad things are with like-minded people, spend your time on HA. I will add that HA seems to be obsessed with Roosh, judging by these long threads on the Latest 100. There is no indication that the Roosh forum gives a shit about HA, which is how it should be.

RVF has some excellent posters, but too much of the forum is an echo chamber of douche bags rambling about getting Bangs. Actually they don't even talk about Game/Bangs so much anymore since half the forum is now dedicated to politics. I've never met Roosh, but I like his work. I agree that HA is largely negative and less active, hence why I haven't posted as much around here in a while, but this forum does have a broader demographic and less group think than RVF. I value both forums, RVF more for inspiration and self-improvement, HA for venting, questioning, and there's something cool about HA being a diverse collection of creative-types all with a passion for travel. We really need to shore up the content on this forum, I'd also be up for meet up events like they are now doing on RVF.

The 'free speech' aspect of HA is a two-edged sword. On one hand you can write almost anything. Even Winston puts up with ridicule so I respect that he walks the walk in that respect. He deserves the ridicule though. In fact he is a perfect reflection of what HA is, lives his life inside his head and thinks he knows it all. I have seen some hilarious shit here, things like a thread comparing women in several different countries. Sounds legit, but the guy writing the thread had never been to any of the countries. He had read about them online so he knows what the women of Vietnam are like. That is a funny thing about many of the HA members, they don't know what they don't know. So they have no need to learn any more.

There is a tendency here to be subject to attack if your opinions differ from the rather loony HA party line. People get tired of that shit. The absolute best thread ever on HA is a long and detailed report on dating mainland Chinese women. The author never posts on HA any more because of all the insults and abuse he took from the racists and know-it-alls. So instead we have threads about the Ice Wall Around The Flat Earth and Hot Chinese Girls- Wow! sprinkled in with the Cialis spam.

I have suggested in another forum that Roosh is actually a closeted homosexual. I am thinking more and more that it is ture. I don't spend allot time on Roosh forum too much but compared to Happierabroad there is more information on that site regarding lifestyle(job or education ) choices and some information for travels. I think there are allot more posters and on the average younger compared to this site.

It's more towards pua type than this site but not sure if all those bang reports are true. Again it's more about getting laid than anything else. You can say it's younger version of a monger site that avoids the p4p scene but the job and education information is deeper. There are posters there that have international jobs and actually take the time to explain how and what they do. Which I think is gold mine for some folks.

What happier abroad does have is lack of PC compared to Roosh forum but again I haven't been on that site too long nor every posted.

The articles are what get people to the forum. Many of the articles are excellent. In fact, there are articles there that almost every person would find interesting.

The Roosh Forum works best as a self-improvement forum. It was a lot more focused on that in the past.

It started to go downhill when Christian McQueen stopped posting there. Something happened between him and Roosh or some of the posters there. He used to post there a lot and doesn't anymore.
