Digital nomads are people that work and make money online and travel around the world. Their motivation is not too different from happierbroad but minus the sexism and racism or maybe there is.

I been reading that lots of digital nomads are in Thailand or Vietnam because it's cheap to live there. Wondering how many of them are there for sex tourism? Wondering what others think?

I was there in Thailand ..I'm a Digital Nomad since last 15 years but didn't know I was one...

This term was coined by the Millennials to look hip and cool...We were called Freelancers, Remote Workers, 1099 contractors.

Johnnyfd? I googled him. What makes him a scam artist? He seem to promote drop shipping lifestyle by Alton. I thought about getting into drop shipping and took a look at Alton course. Kind of expensive. But do you know anyone personally that has been scammed by Johnnyfd?

None of the digital nomads I can think of live in Chiang Mai. Winston lives in the Philippines. Roosh lived in Ukraine (not sure where he is now).

I think guys living abroad been around a long time already but there seems to be new movement and they call themselves digital nomads . They had a summit in chaing mai thailand. Just google them or search them in youtube many of them are in chaing mai.

the biggest issues of living or traveling abroad is money. If your independently wealthy . Great. If you can work online already.Great...but most people don't have this. I mean I thought this was common sense among people. It stupid for someone to quit their job with out enough savings or some sort of passive income and decide to become a digital nomad.
If you can make money online at home your pretty much able to do it anywhere else in the world with a good internet connection.
I mean you have to be pretty stupid to give up everything and go to Thailand and think some sort of digital nomad movement will teach you to make money. and if people do that...well they should get scammed.

True...looks like Chiang Mai provides a safe haven for scammers from the eyes of authorities...Bangkok, Pattaya is already a well established tourist, expat, sexpat places..It's not exclusive.

Plus...Its very very cheap..Digital Nomads do not make much money....they are hoping for a sheep to come along ...The place provides them cheap accommodation like for 4000 THB/month till they find a new sheep to scam.

However, I must also say...Not all people are scammers...They are drawn to the "Community" by smart marketing technique unaware that, they are being made part of a larger scam.

There are lots of problems in America and Europe now a days...Everyone wants to get out, so these scammers are exploiting the vulnerability by giving them pipe dreams
