Being as Chinese students in the USA are sometimes deeply involved with intellectual property theft and espionage, it is pretty unlikely that their numbers will be cut much. They serve as a cover.

Most of the Chinese, Filipina or Vietnamese women who move to the US, stay and marry there and raise families ultimately grow into the ultimate horror show... an unholy match made in hell between Asian and Western materialism, constantly trying to one-up other Westernized Asians, bragging about whose son is an engineer and whose daughter married a laywer and which family owns the nicest house and drives the most expensive car... the type of woman a Chinese student grows into if she stays in the West isn't the type of woman you want around, really. Sure there's exceptions but for the most part I would strongly advise anyone against bringing foreigners into their countries... whether it's Chinese students, wives, or simply co-workers. Most of them will be ruined by the West eventually.

The trade war might actually heighten the appeal between the West and Chinese women. Why?

-China has more to lose economically than the USA so the impact on their economy will adversely affect standards of living there.
-The scarcity and higher cost of American products will raise the perceived value of any and all things American after some time.
-In times of national hostilities, there is always a subset of women who stray towards the enemy be it for rebelliousness, taboo appeal, or sympathy.

I am not an authority on Chinese women since I have never been to China. However, I have been to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, all with significant Chinese populations.

I, for the life of me, do not see the attraction to them. They are typically unattractive although exceptions do exist. Usually, an attractive Chinese girl I will mistake for a Japanese girl.

I am all about Japanese women. They are sweet, demure, cultured and enjoy pleasing me as a matter of course. I think Chinese women are an attraction because they are so plentiful and because most of them are hungry for a life upgrade.

China and its women = backwardness
Japan and its women = Serenity, order, and balance

For all of you in satisfying relationships with Chinese women, I am very glad for you and you have found yourselves exceptions.

There will always be Chinese who idolize America, not just for its money but for it's beautiful landscapes and air. And also because they have relatives and family there too. Also, you can't enjoy nature as much in Asia because there are more insects in tropical climates which means you can't go camping like you can in the US or even sit and read a book outside because insects bite you a lot. Also hot humid air isn't comfortable either. And the nature areas like forests feel like jungles or swamps so aren't as clean to visit as say the California Redwoods or the forests in the Pacific Northwest, etc. This all makes a big difference in quality of life.

Also there will always be some Chinese women who prefer white western men or have a fetish or preference for them. No trade war will change that. It's their taste and preference.

Due to recent trade and diplomatic tensions between China and US, word is that many Chinese students and investors are now going to places like Japan, where Abe is actively courting Beijing as backup plan. As of June 2019, Trump just started trade dispute with India, and is said to plan the same for Japan in 6 months.

So instead of going to Orange County or Vancouver to invest in real estate, they expect Chinese investors to look to Japan instead. Since this is only the beginning we won't know the full effect yet.

I don't know how you go 'hunting' for women in China. Being a white man and having Chinese women finding you attractive has nothing to do with being American - most white people you see on Chinese TV are Russian or Ukrainian. Even if America goes full spastic in the future with China, more and more white people are coming here if not more and more Americans.

Why doesn't Donald Trump just let his Jewish friends handle the trade deficit and trade deals with China? They should be the masters at such things.

Lol imagine if the top Chinese business leaders in China met up with the top Jewish business execs and financiers in America to negotiate a trade deal, and both sides tried to get the upper hand in the deal on each other. Lol.
